Incirlic is may be the single worst news for the international community. Hope it will develop better and the nukes won't end up in the hands of a
rising dictator.
Other news however are no less troubling for the way of the rising dictatorship. Today Erdogan's regime fired 15,000 TEACHERS. Seems we have indeed
the rise of a totalitarian regime comparable to the failed one of Saddam Hussein or even more dangerous, taking into account Turkey is bigger and
closer to Europe, and NATO member. Europe and NATO should think not only twice, but rethink their entire strategy to a failed country as big as
Germany, whether they should still rely on Turkey as their southern bastion. Erdogan's Turkey becomes part of the problem, not part of the
solution.
As Kerry allegedly said (don't know if confirmed or not), Turkey may be made exit NATO. IMO NATO will be more secure without that rising dictatorship.
If there is a way for speedy removal of the US nukes. Well may be strategically other solutions will be sought, to look for the entire Turkey to stay
where it were years ago...Well, if it is no more possible, then?
What we have as of today, it is an ever increased TERROR against common people, intellectuals, who are impossible all of them to have participated in
any coup, even if they wanted to. Textbook of history shows Hitler doing pretty much the same with the people who thought different.
If that trend continues, and for now it continues on full gear, we will face a new Nazi regime in 21st century standing with one leg on the European
continent. Who needs that? Some anti-Russian people say, Putin. I don't think that Mr Putin needs a regime like that to be his ally.
Isn't it better the Great Powers Russia included to sit down and decide the problem that rose for Europe with the fall of the Byzantium empire, the
Eastern Roman Empire, under the Ottoman invasion in 1453. Without going further in history or making any unfounded projections of future
Constantinople, it is not unfair to say that today's Turkey regime becomes a danger for everyone in Europe and America, as well as for its own 80 mln
citizens. The process unfolded too fast in DAYS. Who can count on any word of the Turkish regime that will become better after it becomes worse? They
may pour thru their borders millions migrants as human weapon and punish Europe without giving a shot. Europe has enough problems without that. So is
America.
