European superstate instead of the European Union, such ultimatum at a meeting in Prague, will present the countries of the Visegrad Group head of the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The "passed 20" and portal tvp.info came to describing the plan 9-page document, signed by foreign ministers of Germany and France.

From what i understand of this 'Document', and i would like to know more so if anyone here has 'more please share.

The document states *Instead of the EU, there will be the formation of a 'superstate' (Germany + France), though Italy is also likely to be included. This is an insurance to cover the instance in which the EU falls apart.

The 'superstate' would have an integrated military, economy and government, and national borders would be removed. This plan is in advanced stages, as it appears the officials of Germany and France have already signed off on it.

So this would make a map of Europe look more like one of the early 1940's.

Seems like they are drawing up old ww2 borders doesn't it? Guess if a war of attrition against the UK doesn’t work they'll be primed for invasion. Funny how the countries involved have strong Roman Catholic underpinnings, or maybe we're not supposed to notice that?

I see butcherguy noticed that as well ;-)

Now you understand why we wanted out.

A Federal Europe imposed on the people through no democratic means.

Good luck to Europe, I hope it works out for them, but I can't see it working.

The express, very anti eu. Just saying.
Besides that I can live with those three being the first ones to pull through. I'm on board. Just watched the press conference of Hollande, Merkel and Renzi, Europe will be fine.

Everybody with this ww2 and Nazi comments just showed how far away from contemporary reality you live. I am very greatfull you left since you still seem to be stuck in the 50ies.

It reminds me a lot of what they wanted to do with the NAU.

Although I really doubt any of this would work. You'd see referendums in a lot of those countries to exit the EU as well I would think.

I can't imagine member nations that border Russia for example would be comfortable giving all their sovereignty back to a foreign power.

I think it's silly to compare it to 1930's Europe, but imposing a superstate on the people, without due democratic process, will upset quite a few Parties on the right and support will be gained for these Parties.

My guess is, now that the U.K will be going (maybe not), they are trying to ensure no other country will be allowed to leave?

What's good for some, will not be good for others and fairness/equality will matter none.

Hopefully it doesn't fall in such a bloody manner as the Third.

Looking at that map, how do we think Russia would feel by having what ammounts to a military superpower with control of all borders right up beside it?

We think missile defense shield is the biggest point of contention?

That map is very telling

It would seem that the global strategists have improved at the same rate that chess players have.

Makes me wonder if they have an A.I. that's helping them to checkmate what they couldn't 70 years ago.

Slow positional play, control the center, force the opponent to give up space by developing efficiently, perform prophylaxis, look for tactics, attack the same square twice, distract the opponent from one side of the board in order to reveal threats, maintain a good serf, I mean pawn structure, don't bring out the Queen early, and keep the king nicely tucked away until the end game.

Yup. They're doing it. We've given up freedom of movement for fear of threats and they have an excellent pawn, I mean serf structure.

Mate in ...

ETA, the only rule they don't follow is Don't leave your pieces hanging. They have a closet somewhere where they have tons of their "pieces" hanging.

Nobody here in germany(mass media) talks about a european superstate. But i am news junky and the whole day you read and hear:
Europe needs a own military, needs a eurpean foreign minister, then people then would identify with europe. Isn´t that the so called superstate?

Problem is, since the Brexit debate politicians mass media are "mixing up"(sure, just a mistake...) Europe and EU.
If they talk about the EU, they start to talk about Europe, as if it would be the same.

The EU with Juncker, Schulz, Malmström, Draghi are destroying Europe, with a little help of "the black zero" Schäuble, Merkel, Steinmeier, Gabriel etc. And if they come up now with a european superstate, europe will burn, brussels and strasbourg will burn, berlin will burn, the people are fed up to the back teeth.

We have enough of lying, spying, serving the rich, the banksters, the "economy", the multinational corporation, the billionaires, the tax dodgers, the military-industrial complex, the secret services, big brother, even the righwingers/neonazis now. We have enough of politician puppets, controlled by the hand of the US in their ass. Enough of voting till the results fit for those in powers. We have enough of being the robots, slaves for the profits of the rich and powerful. Enough of their NWO dreams, because it is nothing else than that. First the US of A, then the US of E, then we put them together, and so on...

European superstate.... they would have to do that again without asking the people, but this time the people would be ready to prevent us from that EU crap, or EU superstate BS!
Enough is enough!

So far it is only 3 which have agreed on establishing tighter connections.
And that's doable. Especially with italy, France and germany. They're not that far apart, Germans love Italy. And there is no fear of "cultural pollution", or whatever right wingers call it, those are three very different cultures.
So as I see it, there will be a flexible union, where people can decide how far they want to get involved.
But core issues, like eu outer boarders, security in general, a united defence, the pressing ones need to be solved.

We'll see the talks are tomorrow.

I feel like the German people know the history of doing something like this far too well and would be one of the first to rise up and just say no.

I can't imagine Angela has very high approval ratings either.

All the things our politicians in the UK tried to pretend wouldn't happen...
Glad we got our vote in before all this.

Hope you lot can force some changes over there, you need your own version of UKIP, because that's what got us the referendum in the end.

Another crazy idea occurred to me.

It's also good in chess to exchange a bad piece to take a lesser piece or pawn to open up the board.

Is the British referendum exactly that?

Oh no, never, germans and rising up? Never! We are like the japanese, robots, don´t ask, just do..
As sad as it is.
Yes, normally we would have to rise up against something like this, because of our history. But germans never rise up, i think we have a genetic defect

You could treat us as much as you want, we wouldn´t say anything. Ok, at home, where nobody hears you, or in a bar, when drunk. Bu then the next days we wake up early in the morning, go to work, do what we have to do, without questioning anything.

Thats the reason why the austrian, not blonde ",aryan" brushbaitor could do what he did in the Third Reich.
Because:
"Really, we didn´t know anything...!
"If we had known..."
"But what should we have done..."

And Merkel?
She is gone. But not only because the refugee situation, but because of problems she caused since her first days as politician. But german people woke up when? With the refugee situation. So we could show our ugly face again. Before that, we kissed "Muttis" ass whenever we could, voted her even twice, lol.

I hate the stupidity of many of my fellow citizens, i feel ashamed. She is like: One day she says A, the next she say B, as if she never said A in here life before. Since her first days. But thats the result of studying propaganda and agitation in the GDR, i guess. And the reason of her aggressions against russia, while sticking in the rear exit of the USA.
