If ... as mentioned; there are two gunmen involved, it is hard not to make comparisons with the recent Paris nightclub tragedy.

No CNN mentioned the shooting for 10 seconds, and then went into a story bashing Brits who want to leave the EU, and featuring a bunch of young people touting how the UK should stay in the EU.

Jesus CHRIST.

Orlando...where my uncle got #faced and somehow fell off of a 5 story parking garage and somehow survived barely lol.

Been to a concert there once too but really did not care for the city.

RIP to casualties.

Nothing on Fox either.

ABC News picked it up as did the BBC.

CNN came back, reported it for another 20 seconds, and went into a report about FIFA soccer.

Like seriously, WTF?

Most networks in Australia are mentioning it,guess the scripts haven't been handed out there yet.

I can't seem to think of any kind of motive for this horrible tragedy. If there was someone inside that the person hated, or the owner of the club...one would think they would wait outside. Why harm so many innocent people?

I hope the situation is resolved and fewer people are harmed than are already.

Most of the news sites only post content management(the sites are set up that way anyway) stories from AP and Reuters.

Looks like it just made it to Reuters.

It has been suggested it is a terrorist attack aimed at the gay community.

Just conjecture at this point.

Orlando's a complete sh#hole. Any Florida native (or anyone who's lived there long enough for the Disney/paradise euphoria to wear off) knows it's one of the state's most violent & crime-ridden cities. Pretty substantial entrenched gang presence, IIR. I've known people who worked in the city for a while, and a few who were going to school, only to quit/transfer because it's just that bad in a lot more areas than not. I've heard many people describe it as "Florida's Oakland". Lol, kind of speaks volumes.

It'll catch on the news eventually. After everyone's done rolling their eyes down there going "Pfft, Orlando, go figure."

So far it's apparently not even clear if it was one or multiple attackers. It just feels like an Islamic nut, after Paris and Tel Aviv that's the first suspicion that comes to mind.

And before anyone attacks me for saying that, don't. I can't help it and am a bit ashamed for that "racism" Islamic terrorists have succeeded to plant in my brain.

Why Gays though? They're essentially harmless.
