I started the following thread a while back...

Generation Y Unashamedly Acting Like Teens Into Their 20s

Then I ran across "Here's to Never Growing Up" by Avril Lavigne. It is the best direct evidence of the thesis I presented in the thread above. The thing is, I absolutely love the song. It's great if you take it as brainless bubblegum pop IMHO. If suggestible young people are taking the song as an important philosophical statement, that's totally different.

This is the song that doesn't ends...

...but I'm old enough to remember Lamb Chop and friends singing it. I even have a link on my desk top. I'd try to link it, but it might get me banned!

I play it when life gets weirder than usual to maintain perspective.

Edit comment: Just saw the link is 10 hours.

I remember in high school, every time this came on the radio my sister and I would start dancing in the car. We had to look like total idiots, but we both loved that song. Don't feel ashamed, you are with good company!

Cheesiest little number ever. But I loves.

To cover my shame, here is a naked man playing it on a recorder.

People need too embace who they really are and consider transitioning to the philosophy of the HoFF.

I have been a punk rocker most of my life until I went all hippy and got a big beard, punk, metal, ska all in my blood.

And also strangely this song, I love it and even own their album on cd, the only cd I actually have...

As a dude, I had a buddy who drive around campus to this song. After a while of resenting it, I accepted it lol.

No need to thank me...you are all welcome. Now let the heads bob where ever you may be!!
