Father Posed as Daughter's Texting Boyfriend to Trick Her into Child Porn

Parents worry about their children being online and meeting the wrong person, well what if they were the culprits?

Just when you think you have heard everything comes a twisted sadistic tale that is only Hollywood could come up with, but unfortunately this is a real case.

After reading the story and hearing what the dad had to say he felt no remorse, and was only worried about himself when caught.

Syracuse NY - Dad Torture's His Daughter Online and at Home.

A Herkimer County man posed as his teen-age daughter's texting boyfriend to trick her into sending pornographic pictures of herself to him, he admitted in court today. The man went so far as to falsely claim the fake boyfriend had committed suicide, then used the photos as leverage when he began sexually abusing the 14-year-old girl, according to federal court records.

A little bit about what was going on and excerpts from the chats.

They started calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend, even though they'd never met. The girl resisted his requests to send him sexually explicit photos, but finally gave in. By November, the girl told him she wanted to break up with him.

"I tell u what u want to be gone then send me nudes and close ups and I will let u go," the man responded in a text, posing as the teenage boy. "No," she responded. "I'm not going to do that. That's another reason I'm leaving. All you talk about is sex sex and more sex. Honestly that is not what a relationship is about."

"Then I will send these to your dad and then I won't have to worry about anyone else having u," the man wrote, referring to the child pornographic pictures she'd sent.

The man, posing as the boyfriend, repeatedly made the threat of sending the photos to the girl's father, court papers said. "I told you that a bunch of times when we were dating that I don't like those pics and now you are threatening me that if I don't send you those then you'll send my dad the ones I sent you before?" she texted. "My life is ruined."

It's sad because parents are supposed to love, nurture and care for their children yet we have situations like this. I'm sending good energy her way and hoping that one day she'll find the strength to overcome all this.

You and me both I'm going for a long walk, then coming home and doing something wonderful with my family to offset this negative ripple in the Matrix .

What a scumbag, I don't have the words to describe what should happen to him. The girl was incredibly brave to tell someone, am glad it's over for her and she can try to piece her life back together. Sounds like a smart kid.

Star I do volunteer work with abused kids part-time as a mentor. The reason I brought this article to light on ATS is there is more of this going on than people think. This however, is an extreme case where a parent broke every law of trust, protection, and anything else a parent could do with a child.

Hopefully she will be able to forgive, (not forget) and move on with her life. She will go through lots of anger and hopefully she will have the support to see here through it.

Being that she is a teen makes things more challenging for her to overcome. Send her positive vibes she needs them.

Went for a nice long walk. It's lovely spring, or close enough, afternoon, so I strolled down to one of the local parks. Trees beginning to blossom, daffodils in bloom, squirrels playing...

Off in the distance a young father and his even younger daughter were, illegally, feeding those same squirrels. I had to stop and watch 'em for a little bit. Just to relearn that most fathers, the vast, vast majority, love and protect their children. They were having so much fun, that I ended up having a pretty good walk.

It's only just beginning for her, poor girl... The nightmares. The fears. I remember what my niece went through.

You never, ever want to hold a little girl crying in your arms because "Daddy came, again...". Trust me on that. I don't enjoy being in a near psychotic rage, and having no target...he was already in prison, where he died later.

My niece is nearly forty now, and still has the scars.

Forgetting will never happen. The forgiving part is to be hoped/prayed for, and I hope she finds it within herself to do so, for her own sake. I suspect that's a ways down the road, however.

Go for a walk, watch real fathers interacting with their kids. Works really well.

I gathered my kids under my arms and sang "cant help falling in love" to them by Elvis.

All is well.

How these monsters exist is beyond me. I missed my kids for months. Everyday they were on my mind.

To have your kids near you and treat them like that. Its beyond me.
