From a different article:

Christie said that Trump will “provide strong, unequivocal leadership” and would “undoubtedly” be the best candidate to beat “Hillary Clinton in November.

“They [Democrats] do not know the playbook with Donald Trump because he is rewriting the playbook. He is rewriting playbook of American politics because he is providing strong leadership that is not dependent upon the status quo," Christie said

Should be interesting to see where the other candidates no longer in the race are going. My bet is that most will still wait a bit to see how the Cruz and Rubio shake out.

Trump will be the first president to not have a VP. A vice would just hold him back & steal spotlight.

Who could be pick as VP that would help garner independents from voting for Hillary? As much as I hate Christie, he's right in saying that anyone but trump is a guaranteed win for whatever democrat gets the nomination (ie Evillary)

He needs someone who is proven to be worse at spelling than he is. Not sure this is a IQ thing as if it matters; perhaps a playground political bully strong/sponge arm was needed. Did'nt Trump's father make his fortune as a Slumlord in Brooklyn (young Trump was the masher payment collector)?

Fatten the golden calf. Trump is empire building as we breathe (he will sacrifice Christie in a heartbeat if needed to).

If I were Trump's Campaign advisor

I would say that the Christie endorsement is provisionally welcome ...
but should not be construed as a welcome gesture to a 'life long', 'establishment-career politician'
which I (Trump) have lost all-faith-in-as-being-a-role-model...

Trump is campaigning against these politics predators as being A-holes...
Why? accept their endorsement ?
Accept ONLY their defeat, their acceptance to follow Your plans/policies/leadership

Candidate Trump !!

do not allow Scabs into your Campaign or Administration.... Christie is your first test

He's already said he's going to pick a "political person' for VP. When are people going to see through this fraud.
