Teenage girl 'made up' migrant rape claim that outraged Germany

A 13-year-old Russian-German girl has admitted making up a story about being kidnapped and raped by migrants in a case that triggered a furore in Germany and briefly embroiled Berlin police in a spat with the Kremlin, state prosecutors said.

The parents of the teenager, named only as Lisa, reported her missing on 11 January after she failed to appear at school in the Marzahn district of the capital. She reappeared 30 hours later with injuries on her face, and told her parents she had been attacked by men of Middle Eastern or north African appearance. News of the incident spread on social media, sparking outrage among Berlin’s Russian-German community.

But when she was questioned by trained specialists three days later “she immediately admitted that the story of the rape was not true”, said the spokesman for the state prosecutor, Martin Steltner.

False rape accusations , even if they feed the current outrage over Muslim refugee assaults in Cologne, should always be exposed. Her claim of being detained and raped for 30 hours straight, yet it was never doubted by Islamophobes, it only added more fuel to the fire.

Horrible. Maybe not all refugees are "terrorists", but at least not all of them are liars.

It'll still be regurgitated repeatedly as fact by those tying to galvanise support against refugees, it's too much of a good propaganda story not to.

This girl needs serious help. Wow, just wow.

I wonder what caused the injuries to her face, and if she was given a medical exam which could confirm or refute rape.

I'm just saying, young girls, or women of any age will sometimes recant rape stories, when it becomes too overwhelming, too public, or too embarrassing.

When I was reading the story of the young woman in Sweden who might be in trouble for using pepperspray, I immediately thought "and what is the best way to get out of that trouble?" Recant, obviously. Say she made it up; there was no rapist, there was no pepper spray. Done.

If this girl was safe at a girlfriend's home, then she should be charged with making a false report to police, in addition to whatever ways her parents discipline her. That's a horrible thing to do, and does a tremendous disservice to those girls who have indeed been sexually assaulted.

I don't know but if the situation was causing international problems could someone have paid the poor girl to recant as some kind of compensation? The kid may not have been able to go through all of the legal process and just wanted to be left alone. She did not cause those injuries to her own face remember. Something happened. As a father of 3 daughters I know it is difficult to get girls to report sexual assaults to police and go through all the hassles. The whole thing could be a cover up to try and stop anti-refugee sentiment.

You know reading this made me think so much of the Salem Witch trials and the witch hunt following blanket accusations from a group of girls. Eventually one of the girls recanted.

Understandably there are many conflicting emotions regarding the immigrants, including the fear that many come to terrorize under the veil of refugee asylum seeker, among other things. There are valid reasons to keep our eyes peeled. But see how far her story went.

Now did she recant because she truly made it up, or was she pressured to recant?

So now we have to decide if she was lying when she claimed what happened or that she has been coerced into saying that she was lying. That might be up to the people but doesn't it feel strange to anybody else that she's suddenly changed her mind, could she have been "visited" or her family been "visited"?

Alright I might be being a little over conspiratorial but still, you have to ask the question why this is only coming out now rather than after she said it was a lie.

I didnt look closely at the story. I didnt care to. You see My family fled Muslims in the old country, and it is all to painful to spent much time looking at. 75% of my people were slaughtered in a genocide by the Muslims. Later Hitler who looked up to Turkey, said " they got away with that one, lets do the same to the Jews, and he did. But no one seems to remember 1.5 million Armenians being slaughtered. Men were shot in the head, and women and children were death marched. Many Many women and children (both young girls and boys ) were raped before they were killed.
As for this story........ Are all the other stories false through out europe? Is that why Merkel says they have to go back after the war now? I think not. If you disagree, put some of the refugees in your home and report back to me later

And they really do scream Allan snackbars, and they truly believe in the extreme tenants that many of these refugees believe in as well (of course not all) and even worse as much as they exist, their poor frightened, begging for their lives victims exist as well, until they are slaughtered.

As for the girl lying we have to question wether this is due to duress or wether she truly made up the story, however this case doesn't negate the many others that are flooding in, Europe is becoming more and more in a state of disarray as we allow the flood gates to remain open.

a reply to: angeldoll We got out just in time. My great grandmother took two small boys 8 and 10, and walked across the continent to the Greek seaport in cypress and got on a ship headed to Ellis Island. Almost everyone who stayed died. Only 500,000 made it out alive.

Wahhabism is being financed by Saudi Arabia and filling the need to respond emotionally to the attacks of the Western powers against their people and Nations. Per the OP - Yes, it's a shame a girl lied about being raped. But if it takes a lie to wake people up to the fact that many, many other women actually have been raped by immigrants then that's a good thing. Well, unless you consider women to be just sex objects handy to grab and abuse when you get urge ( it's a real man's world under Isam).

Good thing she was interviewed by proffessionals and not emotional fathers projecting their fears. I am sure they have seen before, what ever it is your imagining and took that into consideration when determining she did make it up.

Yes but you should know I tend to over simpilize.

You see, when I see a story like ISIS (let's say) and I know my country has a knack for bombing a country here and there to the 20th century from time to time.

Coincidencently enough, each time thereafter along comes a spider. "Why eat porage when I'll give you 50x that if you grab this gun and scream "Eat my Sandwhich".

The man aghast, shudders at the thought, yet the spider reminds him of his wife and children.

He bows his head in shame, grabs an AK and an advance on his bloodletting. Feeds his kids, offers a remorseful smile and walks away to cry, or die. Six in one, half a dozen in another. Or, maybe just a nice short story. Honestly, you'd know better than me perhaps.
