Pslam 37:24; "Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand."
It ain't the Good Lord making you fall. It is you my friend.
"I have this little thing called following novelty. Noticing the inconsistency and abnormalities in life and looking into them for deeper meaning."
This is your mistake. Remember God is perfection. You will not find Him rummaging through life's novelties and distortions. You will just end up where
you are, stumbling "catastrophically" as you put it.
"It's through this novelty that I am able to decipher gods messages and see his symbolism directly as if he was were speaking to me."
It is not "his symbolism" you are seeing. It is the world's. If you want to see God's symbolism then the Bible is the place for that. That is where I
am looking to challenge your confusion that you are trying to sell to us as a good way to be looking for God. Oh no! You are leading the flock astray
over a cliff or into the paths where wolves wait in ambush.
Proverbs 4:12; "When you walk, you won't be held back; when you run, you won't stumble."
Psalm 121:3; "He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber."
See, how many times the Lord tell us He will not let us stumble if we listen to Him.
Psalm 23:
"1
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever."
John 11:9; "Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this
world."
Selah! Amen! Hallelujah!
That is how the Lord leads.
He only causes the wicked and those who don't listen to Him to stumble:
1 Peter 2:8 "and, "A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE"; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were
also appointed."
Isaiah 26:7; "But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead
of them."
Don't ever tell me God leads us into catastrophe if we are following Him. It is a LIE. The whole Bible and Christ, too, say it is not so.
