Fair enough. I misunderstood your argument- it came off as a "sure it steals everything, but who cares" kind of response.
I confirmed windows7 didn't do this before I started using it- but there have been many, many updates since then.
I do feel, however, that we do need to still rant and rave when Microsoft keeps pushing the boundaries of personal invasion given their immense market share.
It is important to note, though, that the computers in our pockets are much bigger offenders.
