I found this to be interesting, strange, and somewhat disturbing. Yes they have the right to do it, but I have to question how great their motivations are. This reminds me of when I was in Europe and saw the cathedral dome with the big mural painted on it about satan torturing and eating people- it was disturbing and perverse and made me realize that they weren't motivated by god but to control people. It seems that Christians realize that they are losing influence and are desperate to do anything to keep their people from leaving.

Those that are drawn to God's love through His Grace will never leave .Those that have used the wrong door were never in Christ .....

This is basically a "how-to" guide on how to make someone believe just about anything: tell them that if they don't believe they will suffer for eternity. This is how religion works, get them while they're young and gullible and convince them that hell exists and they're a lifetime believer despite evidence to the contrary.

It is interesting.....

I see it as just a thoughtful question. I'm thinking there should be some disclaimer for the folks entering though if it's strangers.

If it's in a community for thier own and kids all for them.

i don't prefer, and to each there own.

Wow just wow...never heard of this before.
When I was a in elementary to junior high we
had bloody bible teachers at school & everyone
had to participate. This happened once a week,
same day & time. Me being a drummer & playing
every style of music including rock was extremely
against there way of life. They kept telling me I was
going to hell & scared me so much that me mum had
to intervene. I was having nightmares & all kinds of BS.

Yeah isn't that VERY Christian of them. I no longer had to
participate & they finally got rid of that BS. It has NO place
at school period unless you're going to a private academy
where it is understood as part of the school curriculum.

This harms kids & does nothing more than that. I was raised
to be open & respect everyone & everything & then was free
to chose my own path regardless of what anyone else in the
family believed. Scarring kids or people into religion goes against
all teachings.

Cheers

They're doing the same thing at a church in Pennsauken, NJ - scaring kids to believe in one imaginary place (heaven) by scaring you with another imaginary place (hell). It should be considered cruel and unusual punishment.

I was taught that same rationalization when I was a Christian. Keeps the cognitive dissonance to a minimum, when you meet people who have left the church and Christianity.

So Islamic militants behead nonbelievers........ These so called "Christians" scaring kids into Christianity. So both use different methods of terror. I have to agree with Ghandi: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

I have wondered about the apostate . A subject I never felt the need to delve into for some reason .I guess I was so occupied with making sure I understood the Gospel that once I was comfortable in Him I never looked back .

Well most Christians could or should agree with that . I am not a big fan of me and I am a Christian .But then it's really not about me or other Christians for that matter .

These people are insane. Exactly what book did they read that gave them the idea to do this?

Between audio and reading, I have been through the NT 100 or more times and I never once got this message from the bible.

Bloody true or not...NO ONE should be scarring anyone to conform
to their beliefs period! Do you realize how much this can cause permanent
psychological problems their whole life. It is the RIGHT of each individual
to choose their own path & not you or anyone else to make that choice
for them.

I was extremely appalled at with ALL of this BS & I personally do not
care what religion you or anyone else is or is not...this kind of practice
is wrong. This is me first time to post in this category & will be me last.

The only reason I posted was the shock factor that this BS continues.
At least hopefully people are aware before entering this halloween
christian BS house so they do get to choose before entering & unlike
my experiences I had NO bloody choice until me mum finally stood up for me.

Cheers

If you believe in something, that is your business, but "what if" questions should not be the basis for anyone's religion. Any god that is out there will see right through the dishonesty of this sort of motivation to "believe".

The dishonesty of an implied "dogma" (by others created) that humans believe in, tithe to and eventually become enslaved?

The actors for these "hell houses" essentially took it upon themselves to declare right from wrong and made fake "judgements" based on their own subjective understanding of the Bible. Once again, the verse that says, "Judge not, that ye be not judged." has been ignored. I'm pretty confident that the Bible makes it clear that it's not man's job to convict of sin.

It's these kind of things that turn people off to Christianity.

Religion is a big business, it's about the money.

Fear is a way to control the mass, no different then the CIA creating terrorism around the world (ISS) to create war and fear by using the propaganda media.

The whole world is controlled by using fear.
