Need to relax?
Love a nice soothing voice?
Happy accidents???
Well, time to jump on over to Bob Ross Twitch Marathon and watch the sadly passed master of bristle goodness that is Bob Ross.

To celebrate Twitch's foray into 'art' channels, they are playing 6 Days or so worth of non-stop Bob Ross making quick joyful pieces of art. We're on day 2 now, there's around 50,000 people watching and chatting away. Trust me, you will be soothed and smile all day afterwards.

The chat is going very fast, but is very funny!
This picture, is actually almost accurate - that man had magic fingers!

UPDATE EDIT:- It's just got a few episodes with guest artists, his son Steve is painting at the moment.
Bob will be back shortly though, in Ross we Trust.

I loved this show!

He was one of the nicest people on TV, I remember how he never painted a single tree, always made sure they had a freind to keep them company.

One show he did the whole thing with a baby bird in his pocket that he had rescued!

They are playing every episode, I dearly hope to see the one with the bird in his pocket
You are right, the nicest persona on television (it's a big call, but I'm going there) EVER. One moment you think he's ruined the painting, then he pulls out some magic at the last minute and voila, masterful.
He loves his happy little trees, such a joyous bloke - died way too young.

I don't dare watch him. His soothing voice draws me in and next thing I know I've lost 6 hours but discover I can't paint a landscape

I really enjoyed watching him when his show was still on. Something just so calming about his voice and watching him paint.

One of the episodes just ended and at the very end he said "God Bless". In today's PC atmosphere, that would have had letters of protest flowing in and got him canceled.

Bob Ross is responsible for making my old man think he could paint.

Amazingly enough. He did, and has off and on since.

Maybe Bob is now painting some of the beautiful skies we see.

Trended on twitter too. He was the best... I actually did try to paint and nothing great but it looked like happy trees and clouds and had water reflection.

Everybody needs Bob Ross!

Post a picture.

I always wanted to try painting because of him. Sadly the only thing I ever painted was my house.

Peer pressure wins again!

Sorry everyone, I got mesmerized watching Bob for an hour, it's 1-AM I must get some sleep. I hope everyones smiling a little more now, I know I am. Also, the chat is insanely funny at times and it's wonderful knowing that so many people can still focus on a show without a thousand camera angles every minute. I can imagine over the next week art supply stores will have a big increase in traffic and be scratching their heads wondering whats going on. Reminds me to get stuck back in to my art work.

Anyway, goodnight to all you wonderful ATS crew. Or as your parents call you 'Happy little accidents'
