Well these look interesting. Hopefully this qualifies in the "and other facilities" portion of this forum.

I saw this on YouTube and thought they looked really interesting. What do you all think they are? When you right-click "what's here" it says Cairo Governorate.

Anyway, they look really weird so I thought I'd post for ATS.

Found this list somewhere on the net, similar structures. Consensus is they are hardened bunkers, with gun emplacements.

They look as if they are ramps to build the structures. Like those proposed to explain how the pyramids were built.

Do I only see pentagrams and horns everywhere?

I'm betting communications towers. The circular areas around two of them are for anchoring cables.
They're raised to prevent drifting sands from burying the base of the towers.
Looks like these are either under construction or being dismantled at the time these images were taken, which is why there is no tower being held in place by anchoring cables.

Just a side note, a lot of things you see from above don't make sense, because we don't usually see them from that perspective.

Those are portable (truck mounted) radar and air defence systems, you see them periodically along the coasts. The ramps are there so that they have more elevation. Remember desert is not flat either.

I´ve seen them many times in egypt, and often they come with several military control points before and after.
The military airport at marsa alam (back in the 90s they used hurghada airport for their military machines), that is now also aviable for public travel is surrounded by such mobile stations...

If you fly in to hurghada and if the plane takes the inner route before doing the last swing, you often see the remains of strafe runs on the ground and bomb craters and all sorts of mock up targets in the desert..
