Folks, if you value your privacy and you have Windows 10 you should remove it as soon as possible.

When you agree to windows TC, you are agreeing for them to turn on your microphone. Windows 10 has a keyboard program that records all your information, including emails, your financial information, your online Banking, letters you have wrote, your online shopping, all your web searches. If you are having a company meeting and your computer is in the same room it is recording everything that is said. if you are discussion a new product, people on the other end have all your information before you go public. Windows 10 records everything you type and what you say in your room. And the people snooping in your computer, NSA can back up all your information and use it how they want too.

Also stop using G-mail and Google.

From what Katherine Albrecht says, she believes Microsoft is going to remove some of these features in a newer version because to many people found out and are removing windows 10 and are installing Win 7.

Hopefully some freedom loving hackers will expose any flaws Windows 10 has relating to its tracking/surveillance/intrusive measures and disable them because apparently its a rather competent OS.

I agree, and i have also heard if you use pirated software or movies it reports that also, Don't get me wrong on that. if you download off youtube Windows 10 could could see that as pirated. And if you make your own USB devices or use periphials not certified by Microsoft it renders them useless and reports it as well.

Winows 10, no thanks. I'll deal with my stable version of windows 7 as long as I can.

If that's the case half of the Chinese knockoffs are about to become kaput.

I can certainly see a report being generated and possibly passed along to the proper authority regrading pirated software and movies but i don't see them rendering third-party peripherals ineffective other than modded Microsoft products, just yet anyway.

Well that's just it "Modded" peripherals. I read about it and some say it's about modding xboxes and chips, but others say it goes too far beyond that..

Thanks for taking the time to view the video. I had no idea about the pirated software or the USB devices. Who needs the police these days when you have snoops on the other end of our computers recording everything and reporting us. It's my understanding that the government wants to install this technology in our TV's, washer, dryers, microwaves, toasters, refrigerators and soon in our cars.

What is it going to take for Americans to say no to these devices.

Think such draconian measures will apply to modded Microsoft products but like you said the implications could be rather far reaching. Who knows what the future holds? Think ile stick with my Windows 8 for the time being until the full implications are rather better known.

Ok here's the thing, I use a "free open source" app called Jdownloader. I have heard a few times windows 10 renders this app useless even though it it not pirated or illegal to use. It just has the stigma of being used to DL pirated stuff even though it's just a download manger. So basically MS is censoring apps at their own discretion.

I think that is a wise decision. I really do.

The overwhelming addiction of the next gen tech is what our downfall is. We are allowing our own subjugation. We are a society that trades our privacy for new "Stuff". Iphone anyone?

People MUST HAVE...And this is what they are banking on. Not intelligence but rather greed, shallowness, apathy and ego.

"YAY, I have the latest Gizmodigitwhatchamacallit". "No idea what it is but I have it like everyone else!"

Is your system screwed because of Win 10? It's your own damned fault.

Here's some advice for the same price as WIN 10... free:

Don't use it.

I've been shopping online for a new laptop because mine is almost near its end-of-life and is shutting itself off frequently, Windows 10 is now on all the latest laptops,
I dont have a lot of concern about spying software and such but watch which websites I visit and word usage in email messages

I agree with you to a point, until casual users cannot get rid of the windows 10 white flag in their taskbar and capitulate and then download it.
But you are right everyone has to have the latest and greatest even thought it not be the greatest.

Personally i see this as a big huge colossal threat! I feel Microsoft is treading the waters on what the public will succumb to, just like the American government is doing. Do the sheep outweigh the informed?

I think if it a concern then you download any number of Linux/Unix versions. Modify the security anyway you see fit and be done with it

I never owns a apple, wouldn't know where to start. But I have been considering Linux OS. But yet again I hear half the apps I like are not usable with a Linux or even a Apple system for the matter?
