A Gigantic Stuffed Bunny on Top of a Hill In Italy

In the foothills of northern Italy exist an area surrounded on three sides by the Alps known as the Piedmont region. Within this region is a hill called Colletto Fava, which is a 5000 feet (1,500 m) high hill. What makes this hill interesting is the gigantic 200 feet (about 60 meters) in length and 20 feet (6 meters) high pink stuffed bunny that lies atop of it. The bunny's name is "Hase" which means "Hare".

Hiking up the slopes of Northern Italy’s mountainside, you might be surprised when you stumble upon a rather strange and unexpected sight: a giant pink rabbit sprawled on top of a hill. By the expression on its face and entrails spilled out at its side, it seems like it fell right out of the sky.

Hikers are encouraged to climb over Hase and relax after a long trek, as long as the giant stuffed toy is still intact.

The bunny was a creative concoction by members of the Viennese art group Gelitin whose art have been featured in many prominent places, such as the Louvre: en.wikipedia.org...
