ISIS existed long before the civil war erupted.

& shortages in the area did play a part in its beginnings.

The "Civil War" in Syria started right after the Islamic Pipeline deal was signed.

Two other world powers were threatened by that.

ISIS is part of the fight for natural gas to Europe.
