Does anyone else have a computer that decides that it prefers other words than those I think I have typed?

I dread it if I forget to read through whatever I have put up, because my darling computer appears, with its programme for typing, to have a will of its own and a veto on what I write. The times I have reread through to find that significant words have changed and sometimes it barely makes sense - although with a re-run on what's written people seem to understand my thought whatever.

Naturally this is nothing to do with my typing skills whatsoever, its the programmer's fault and I would like to get my hands on them.

Hopefully the damn think will never get artificial intelligence or I am in serious trouble.

Maybe it is your keyboard, a spill is all it takes to give your keyboard a mind of its own!

Sounds like autocorrect.

Any chance you're using an apple product...?

Dear Auto correct.... Not once have I ever meant to type "ducking"

My phone has it and I hate it...I normally re-read everything i type anyway. I certainly don't need my phone to get there first and think it's making things better.

Peace,

M.

I had to turn off autocorrect when "clown gangbang" ended up in a text Instead of "closing time". Why would that be in the everyday vernacular of anyone? I wasnt even talking about the circus...

I don't have the problem on my Apple iPhone as much as my Android tablet. It drives me crazy.

I sent a text to my Mom the other night. I was going for "Love you Mom". Ended up sending "Love you Muhammed."

I have my fair share of typos. Now I know what I can blame it on. Thanks.
There are a lot of words that can drastically change the meaning of a sentence if mistyped. Shirt and Birch are a couple that I can think of. You can use your imagination to add or remove letters as you please to see what I'm talking about.

I can't honestly claim a spillage (unless other members of the family aren't owning up) upon my weird typos.

Yup indeed, Apple desktop - love it for most things until I type. Although I am having to catch up a lot with the changes from my old Apple, but that's just me being lazy and doing other things.

Despite my coulrophobia I am oddly intrigued.
