Wow
I have to say this even at the risk of ridicule but I know when spirits are around. I don't see but I sense them and sometimes I can get impressions
of something they are trying to convey.
My son sees them though he won't admit to being a medium. When he was little I'd see him waving to empty space and when he was older while taking a
tour of the casemate museum at Fort Monroe in Hampton Virginia he asked the tour guide why they only had the one character actor on the staff and was
told there were no actors on staff. Then he asked well what about that guy in the cell? The guide just looked at him like he was crazy. That was a
few years ago when he was in his twenties.
Touring the same museum last summer I saw these little twinkling lights all along the ceiling and pointed it out to my husband asking him why the
lights had that effect in this room but not all the others and he could not see what I was seeing. I was like yes you can come on there are little
sparkly points of light moving all over the ceiling you are just pulling my leg. He did not see it but I could tell he knew I was not faking .
My youngest who is 19 now surprised us once when we were picnicking at the Yorktown battlefield. A lovely sunny summer day. Butterflies flitting birds
singing blue skies. He was off at the edge of the woods where the redoubts were covered with bushes and overgrowth and he comes rushing over to his
dad and me and starts packing up the food and plates and stuff saying we're leaving right now. I said no M_______ were staying it's a nice day to be
outdoors. He was shaking saying no we have to go right now. He was about seven then and he still won't go with us if we say we're going to Yorktown.
When he was 14 our niece was going to the coast guard academy in Yorktown and we said come on we're going to take Pam out to dinner. He said in
Yorktown? We said yes and he said I don't feel good I'm not going. He obviously remembers what ever scared him but to this day won't tell us what it
was.
So crazy as that sounds it's entirely true.
One last anecdote.
When my oldest son and I moved into our first apartment I wasn't married to my husband then the first tight as I was falling asleep I felt someone
kiss my cheek. I convinced myself it was just my hair brushing my cheek but when my son got up the next morning he said Mommy you came into my room
and kissed me last night didn't you? Swear on my mother's ashes it's true.
