[ART2015]Avatar Creations Short Story Contest ***RESULTS ANNOUNCED***

We have now completed phase 1 of the cooperative contest between the ATS graphic artists, and the ATS writers. For those who may have missed it....BTS Photomanipulation Contest

The concept is fairly simple: we ran a contest in which graphic artists from ATS created images from pre-selected photos, with the goal to be creating the "cover for a short story book". The results were stunning, with Dollukka taking the top spot.

So it will be her image that is to be your inspiration. The topic is what you interpret from the image you see below.



The rules of the contest, otherwise, will be quite familiar.

Rules Of Entry

The contest will run from Friday 3/20/15 to Friday 4/17/15 at Midnight. Any submissions after that date will be disqualified. A period of voting after the closing of the contest will also be provided.

6 days of voting.

All T&C's Apply

All entries MUST include [ART2015]in the title.

All entries must be linked in this thread. You must include [writer] [non-writer] in your submission post within this thread.

There is no minimum or maximum character count.

1 Single Submission Per Member

There will be 3 winners among members who already have "Writer" status. They will be judged separately from all other entries based on stars and flags received.

1st Place -- 5 Applause, and selection of the next contest theme
2nd Place -- 3 Applause
3rd Place -- 1 Applause

There will also be 3 winners from the non-writer category who will receive the following:

1st Place -- 3 Applause & Writer Status
2nd Place -- 2 Applause & Writer Status
3rd Place -- 2 Applause

Scoring

Flags will be worth 2 points each.
Stars will be worth 1 point each.

*Stars for subsequent posts (ie. additions to the story) will be worth .5 stars.

This is very exciting. The talent expressed by ATS never ceases to amaze me. Now the contest has turned to our writers.

That was quite a creative image manipulation! I see this is going to be quite a challenge for our writers. What? Don't look at me, I'm totally stumped. LOL I'm looking forward to the entries in this one!!!!

Hey Night! I looked for a Translation of that inscription that's
above the Feathers of the Hat in the Image and found this:
Principum Amicitias is Latin and Translates to: 'The Alliances of Princes!'
There go for some Inspiration Night! Princes!
Not only that but, The Alliances of Princes!!!
Hmm, political, which would lead right into a horror story!

Replying so I can save on my ats, I thought giving it a flag might save it to my ATS but no, will have a crack Nigel. That is one spooky picture, might even get my 8 yr daughter to help co write the story if that's allowed, but I guess you would never know unless I told you. Good one peeple yes you were first,. CloudBuster. You can 'BookMark' Threads by Clicking "Subscribe" at the top of a Page where there is a row of Icons, That say:
Favorite, Subscribe, New Thread, Reply, Alert. They are then stored on Your Subscriptions Page. To get there click the downward facing 'arrow' at the top of the page, then click "Subscriptions".
