Well, if Putin has any strong evidence that the US has been hiding proof, it means that Russia has hidden it as well. So, they are just as guilty. Like two people with their pants down, blaming the other one when they are caught.

What this Disclosure might do is "even things" a bit more. If there is this sort of disclosure, with proof, it would certainly create a world-wide fire storm: a major distraction. Such a thing could definitely, be valuable, so I guess that I agree with the OP, in general.

It might seem alien to people that some nations do all these things to people…
