The following material is one of those that make you raise an eyebrow and think what is really the sentiment toward each other and how many skeletons people in America have in their closets. It seams that 400 years haven't dissipated the "hate" and them against us mentality. What I'm about to post, in one hand makes you hush for it is just a trip down the history line which we all know to be true and on the other hand gives you a bitter feeling of what can be considered an endless racism toward whites. White people in America are paying for what their ancestors did to native Americans and to this day are considered to be the sole problem for natives. Judge for your self.

The Native American National Council will offer amnesty to the estimated 240 million illegal white immigrants living in the United States.

At a meeting on Friday in Taos, New Mexico, Native American leaders weighed a handful of proposals about the future of the United State’s large, illegal European population. After a long debate, NANC decided to extend a road to citizenship for those without criminal records or contagious diseases.

“We will give Europeans the option to apply for Native Citizenship,” explained Chief Sauti of the Nez Perce tribe. “To obtain legal status, each applicant must write a heartfelt apology for their ancestors’ crimes, pay an application fee of $5,000, and, if currently on any ancestral Native land, they must relinquish that land to NANC or pay the market price, which we decide.

“Any illegal European who has a criminal record of any sort, minus traffic and parking tickets, will be deported back to their native land. Anybody with contagious diseases like HIV, smallpox, herpes, etc, will not qualify and will also be deported.”

This is so wrong. If they offer amnesty to these people then it will only encourage more illegal immigrants to enter the country. It will become a unstoppable tidal wave of undocumented aliens. America is going down the tubes, man.

I see this as a strongly sarcastic jab at the United States Government who royally screwed the Native American peoples. And they have been continually screwed routinely.

I didn't really open the thread to turn it into a native versus whites in America. Whether the government continues to screw natives (is screwing all americans for that matter) or natives make money of the casinos build in their land (which is a bilateral agreement with the government and futile to be discussed further) is not the point. What I found troubling is the sentiment toward whites. Most of the times white people in America are considered to be the root of racism but as we have seen often recently, whites are being the subject of racism from other races.

Yes true and I agree, is it fair no but when has racism ever asked for elbow room? What is new is that what was hidden and kept to one's self is now in the open, yes people hate you. The problem is that you never noticed or cared or maybe even laughed it off.

There is 240 million white immigrants living in the US? 240 million were born in another country and came here illegally? I want to suggest that the North American Indians have no rights to North America either then, they are truly trespassers too. The indigenous people in South America came across the Bering land bridge first so it is up to them to give amnesty or not.

Same for me. My family knows EXACTLY when we (the collective "we") arrived here, and it was after the beginning of the 20th century. And we came here, to the United States, legally.

This is mildly entertaining to read about, but if there's an ounce of seriousness to their comments it's absurd.

And not all Native Americans have been "continually screwed." Yea, they got their butts handed to them a while ago, yea they got railroaded (metaphorically) by the government. My ex wife is part NA, and the tribe that lives near her hometown has massive amounts of money dumped on them by the government. Brand new parks, new pools, new schools, handouts of food and money, money purely for being NA and no other reason, money (to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars) given just for graduating high school. And guess what? The vast majority of them still drop out of high school "just because." I personally know one guy that dropped out halfway through second semester of his senior year. He was two months away from graduating and getting a check for thousands of dollars, and elected to drop out and watch TV all day. I don't have any sympathy for people like that, nor do I feel bad about their lot in life.

Ah, it was satire. Thanks. But for satire, this could actually occur and be a very legitimate news story. It's a good thought-provoking strategy, even if satirical.
