Clouds that look like contrails.

With the polar vortex plunging into my area, it brought some interesting skies. As I looked out, I noticed something that surely would have ended up here as a frightening picture.



You can see the frontal system as it moves across the sky. Just beyond the front of the cloud, there was a hole punch cloud, but I was driving and could not stop to get a photo. I did point it out to my daughter and she was interested for a brief second.

we all know those ain't no stinkin contrails!

I know. Just clouds. But, they are sinister clouds with an agenda.

Those on the left do appear a bit ChemTrailly.
(Real word? Hmmph. It is Now! LOL!)
But the ones on the right are Obviously victim to H.A.R.R.P.!!

I believe the proper pronunciation is chemtrail-ish. But since chemtrail has a red line under it, I suppose you can say it any way you like and still be right.

I just thought it was a good example of the way a cloud can have a sharp edge like that. It helps to get folks to understand the starting and stopping of contrails. (you know, when the pilot switches the spray on and off)

wave clouds are a staple of chemtrail scaremongering - eg Northland New Zealand Chemtrails Watch just luuuurrrrvveeee telling people to be scared of clouds.

After looking at that site, I am a bit concerned about those folks. Perhaps there is some sort of chemical being sprayed on them. (normal folks aren't afraid of very obvious clouds) I feel terrible for those folks. What a way to go through life. SMH

it's a classic chemmie blog - contrary comments are blocked, and the author doesn't seem to have met a conspiracy she doesn't like.

Of course there are locals who are happy to keep pointing out the stupidity too!

OMG - I hadnt seen that website before!

I guess NZers have to think cirrocumulus are chemtrails because they just dont get as many contrails as we do in Britain or parts of the US ....
