Amanda Bynes Marijuana and Schizophrenia

Ever consider she is maybe just f-ing with people? Seems to me that she is actively seeking attention and if you have ever been familiar with "All That" and the "Amanda show" you would be aware of the fact that she hasn't ever been right in the head. Funny girl but I doubt marijuana is her issue. The majority of smokers are not subject to paranoia. It is usually the first couple times you do it that it happens. I believe those with mental issues knowingly or unknowingly gravitate towards marijuana.

If Amanda Bynes has some sort of mental health issue, i doubt it is because of marijuana.
Fame,money,showbiz....those things ruin adults lives, what do you think it can do to a kid?
I feel sad everytime I see Miley Cyrus for example.I know it is supposed to be some kind of statement, but i just see a broken girl.Broken in all ways, there must be even creepier,sadder and disgusting things going on than we know of.

I see it as another form of child abuse.

No I don't think so. I think she lost it. My ex showed me some video and I walked away feeling like I invaded a sick persons head. I have seen people act crazy like Eminem during Football that one time haha. She wasn't acting.

Personally think these parents send these kids off to be stars & have no idea what these kids are subjected to - now maybe this guy can sue me but this guy is total pedophile - imo

He was a child actor himself and from what i've read he impregnated Amanda Bynes and forced her to have an abortion & Jamie Lynn Spiers - Britneys sister had his child w/him....personally i don't know but this guy maybe a scapegoat to divert attention from other people in Hollywood. But the whole thing is a den of inequity from what ive read. His Twitter page is scary.

In the vast, infinite, universe what you think you know is absolutely nothing. So anything you believe (ideals, knowledge, etc) may be wrong in every way. Everything she says could in fact be more realistic that anything you have ever thought. I don't say this as a means to discount your point but crazy people may just be the only sane people out there

I have schizophrenia myself and I'm a firm believer that marijuana contributed to me getting this illness.

Belief is not proof. Just look at the whole God issue. Just because you THINK something happened doesn't make it true.

You can keep up with the anti-pot crusade all you want. I'm not buying your snake oil and many others aren't either. Your belief is not backed up by any scientific evidence that pot caused you to be schizophrenic therefore your argument is bunk.

I don't know dude not up on my underage molestation terms but i gave an example of 1 guy - a powerful guy ruining peoples lives and named him with pics - do you think all that internet chatter is BS?

Why would they risk their jobs to post BS about the guy & really to be honest from what ive been reading what he is doing is- hate to say it child's play....there are guys turning well known actresses - singers into escorts/hookers...if you know where to look there are many many threads about it - people in the business blowing the whistle.

I have been on this site since it started (had another user name...im sure some of you can guess) and the 911 Fiasco has slowly turned into the Weed Fiasco.

Its a PLANT...that Many have used for Thousands of Years before to treat EVERYTHING and some OP wants to say it causes a Mental problem?? LOL.

OP, I don't know your background (and I'm too tired to follow the thread carefully regarding Amanda Bynes), however I get what you say regarding a schizophrenia and pot connection. While people dissing you have some good points, like it is high time governments get over the legal nonsense and let those it works for use it in peace, I instinctively feel you are right.

To any of the pro-pot folk... you deserve to decide what you put into your body as I'm all for personal governance and less legislation. After all it is just a plant.

That said, I am utterly terrified of getting accidentally high on pot, via baked goods say or enclosed smoky spaces, because I become a dissociated mess, for lack of better words, at the tiniest consumption levels. I am not schizophrenic but perhaps I could be with this as a trigger. I know mountains of users who are just fine but every now and then someone describes their effects to me and its exactly how I experience it. It warrants mature discussion regardless of scientific finding because the psyche has not been mapped yet.

Don't let people get to you no matter which side of the fence you are on.

Typical reply from the pro pot users. This I why I never bother replying on these threads.
I smoked heavily for years with a bud of mine. We both eventually started having extreme paranoia. I became borderline schizophrenic and had to stop. It's years since I have smoked it and I no longer have issues with paranoia unless i'm going through alcohol withdrawal. No history of schizophrenia in my family or my friends. I know it contributes, I have lived it and seen it many times in others.
However, I don't think any drug should be banned. It should definitely be down to the individual to decide, but people should be aware of what can happen if you over indulge. It's quiet irresponsible and dangerous to delude yourself and others into thinking it is some kind of panacea wonder drug.

Absolutely true! For majority of people with no underlying issues anyway, just like after your body is used too it you don't get the giggles anymore, the paranoia goes away too..

I am so over reading that people are more likely to get this and that from Marijuana use just because they are found together in certain people, never mind any other underlying issues or anything like that.
