Vatican Pedophilia Scandal: Archbishop Jozef Wesolowski Stored Over 100,000 Child Porn Videos

A former Vatican archbishop accused of paedophilia stored tens of thousands of child porn videos and photos on a computer in his office at the Holy See diplomatic compound in the Dominican Republic, it has emerged.

Details of Jozef Wesolowski's massive child porn stash have been revealed after the 66-year-old was arrested at the Vatican earlier this week.

He is the highest-ranking Vatican official ever to be investigated for sex abuse, and the first top papal representative to receive a defrocking sentence. He has been charged with sexually abusing minors and child porn possession and might face up to seven years in the Vatican's tiny jail.

Vatican detectives analysed the PC Wesolowski used in his office in Santo Domingo, where he served as Holy See envoy from 2008 to 2012 as part of an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of underage boys.

So here we go again, with another boy-toy scandal infecting the Catholic ranks. What is it with these people?

Categories? I'm not EVEN going to go there.

I spent some years in the DR, so this hits a little harder to me. Having been there, I can easily see how some youth would be lured into doing this for small sums of money. When you are so poor that there is nothing to do but hunt with slingshots for food, and follow tourists around begging for a peso- any chance to earn money, even doing THAT, is welcome. SAD, but true. In some parts of the DR, it is no better than the starvation and poverty in Africa. I can say that cause I've been there. In Santo Domingo, the capital, things may be a bit better, but on the streets that mentality still prevails. It is survival, pure and simple.

Blasted be these archbishops that would take advantage of such a situation to gratify themselves. Sickening.

This happens far too often.

Now, I believe, the reason for this behavior is far more sinister than simple paedophelia (which is vile and evil enough in its own right). The people in higher echelons of power, especially those in entertainment and religion, indulge in a lot of shady behavior for occult reasons.

But, of course, I'm just a Nutter for believing all that hooey, aren't I? That there is power in evil ritual as well as good?

I don't believe in the religions themselves but all that energy is going somewhere. There are reasons below the surface.

It's almost guaranteed that thus garbage was being distributed. Not by a single individual, however, but rather, more likely, by the organization producing them.

One wonders what other material these creeps have made.

The archbishop should be put in stocks and publicly stoned!

It is a sad and strange world where people feel the need to be immoral and abusive to children of their own religion, no wonder they can hate anyone everyone from another religion.

I would love to claim I'm surprised at this type of atrocity but let's face it we all know this happens and is particularity prevalent within the Catholic Church. Men of God my arse! Shame on him, and anyone like him.

They are not, and never were.

For one it looks like their robes were stolen from the closet of a famous piano player.

These old religions maintain power to serve their own will, not gods.

I am going to assume these kinds of people had other motives than being "men of god" for becoming priests.

It seems a pretty great job even at the lower levels, you make a short speech a couple times a week and get free car, cloths, food and even housekeepers.

more proof that the Catholic religion is actually a Satanic Paedofile ring at the very top. I can't wait for it all to come crumbling down.

It's interesting that the Catholic hierarchy has taken such a beating over this, as well they should, but while all eyes are on them, we have children being slaved to produce the products we buy, sold through human trafficking networks worldwide, and pedophiles holding high positions in protestant churches, as well as government. This is much, much bigger than just the leadership of the Catholic church.
Too often, we get focused on one festering boil, instead of pulling back and looking at the infectious disease at the root of it.

I think a lot of priests turned to the church in the first place because their sexuality or pedophilia conflicted with everything they were taught in the church growing up. They didn't know how to reconcile so they tried to fold fully into the church in hopes that it would help. I've seen many priests whose body language and mannerisms suggest that they're homosexual but they were raised in a strict Catholic household so they refused to accept it. To clarify, I'm not suggesting that homosexuality and pedophilia are related... they aren't.
