BBC codes not working for me

A couple of days ago, I could not get a youtube video to embed in a post.
At first, I used the icon and when I clicked on it, nothing happened. Then
I tried to do it manually, with the same results. After several attempts,
I was able to embed it manually.

Today, I tried to use the BOLD icon in a post. Nothing happens when I click
on it.

just encapsulate the desired text between [b] and [/b] tags.

I know how to do that and I did end up doing that, but I often forget the
code for video's. It is much easier for me to use the icons, but
they aren't working.

There have been some "noted" Flash problems with their last update...

if it's an issue that just cropped up then the best/first suggestion would be to clear all browser history, cookies, caches, etc. .... close out, restart and reopen your browser.
