Censored search results relating to Eric Frein? (PA Shooting)

I posted this in the continuing thread about the Eric Frein shooting in PA:

Didn't get any response there, I'm still really curious about what's going on here.

Here's my post from that thread:

"Anyone a little more tech savvy want to answer a question for me?

Google Eric Frein, view all results, and scroll through them.

Why are all the results from within the last couple weeks? I googled a bunch of random made up names I could think of, way more results, plenty of old results. I googled various "freins" (random first name) and got plenty of results with plenty of old ones.

Yet the name Eric Frein has evidently not graced the pages of the internet anywhere until a few weeks ago. Doesn't that seem a little odd to anyone? This seems like obvious search filtering, or do search engines do some sort of different display with "hot" searches?

Just seems odd I can't get any search engine to display anything with the name Eric Frein before a few weeks ago, yet any other name I put in I can find plenty of older entries, nobody else has the name Eric Frein?

Just seems odd to me, hopefully someone can explain what I'm missing here."

I tried doing a search a week or so ago on Eric trying to find out as much info about him as I could but came up with nothing but recent news articles about the manhunt. Kind of weird.

I also tried to do a search on the police officers involved found nothing but recent articles as well.

Or could it be that Eric Frein has been invented in the last couple of weeks?
Maybe.

Every article I've seen on him also had comments closed.

It's because Frein is some sort of spook, hence his identity has been protected. He's traveling overseas, he's running around with Ukrainians in the woods playing soldier, he's taking Russian and Serbian language classes, he talks of fighting with Serbians in Africa, he's a weapons and tactics specialist, he's got paperwork on foreign embassies in his car, no one can say what he's been doing for the last decade or so, etc.

He's not a actor or spook

Anyhow he stars in a Vietnam documentary about survival in the swamps/jungle and his collection.

And this was a crime of passion revenge killing, the first 3 days they took his sister in law for polygraph test but they refuse to give results and refuse any questions regarding the revenge motive as given by sister in law.

On the local talk radio the hatred of this particular cop is evident, and yes many are aiding Frein by placing supplies at dead drops.

A few of us have no problem tossing food out window

The police are so paranoid they attempted to lock down town with a weekend curfew

And have stopped residents at grocery stores that buy dry goods due to so much aid.

I find it pretty telling that no "debunkers" have come fourth to tell me why I shouldn't expect to see any old search results.

For those confused, I'm not saying there should be old results related to the actual man suspected of the shooting.

I'm saying you type ANY name into google and you get tons of results, dating back years.

Yet you google Eric Frein, only a couple weeks.

Are people even seeing this thread? Isn't this concrete proof that google is censoring search results in collusion with government?

Anyone have even a single logical explanation of why there are no old results for that search? (aside from mine)

You know there are other search engines and who in the world use Google as their main search engine as everyone knows they are greedy and will censor and manipulate what they show you.

Many people leave some kind of Internet footprint.Id swear I read in another thread that this guy worked as a film consultant. If true than there would most certainly be mention of his work.

you would get 171,000 similar names come up but not the first thing about me.

You are missing the point. After I specifically addressed that issue in my previous post.

I am NOT expecting old search results for the actual man "Eric Frein" who is the suspect in the PA shooting.

I am expecting ANY results. Prove to me you can conduct a search where there are NO results older than a few weeks. Give me a search to conduct and I will, and I will find year old results. Not with Eric Frein.

He actually has/had a page on IMDB I believe, that didn't come up in search results for "Eric Frein"

I looked through every single search result. This isn't some half-baked theory. The fact the search results were limited to the point where I actually was able to look at each one shows how few there were.

Could you explain how the rest of your post is relevant to this thread? I'm not trying to be rude, but I'd like to keep this specifically on the subject of the search results for his name.

I'm not in a position to say that's not true...

But SOMETHING will still show up on google. I can google MY name and NOTHING comes up about me personally, but there are still tons and tons and tons of results. Years old.

Nothing past 2 weeks for Frein.

Suspicious.

I'm aware there are other search engines.

Who uses google? Well, over a billion people actually. The 2nd most use search engine doesn't even have a third of that.

Google is the most used regardless of your opinion on them, so it would make most sense to focus on google.

I also checked yahoo after checking google, couldn't find any results older than the date at the time, but didn't check as thoroughly as I already spent a lot of time looking at every single search result on google.

I agreed with you in the old thread, Something is up.

I also agree this is a bit unusual considering this guy's career.And lack of info on him.

This was a crime of passion/revenge over a woman. The media has went crazy with it.

They try to stop the locals here from aiding him by placing town under martial law, no one allowed to leave their homes.

But its not working ;-)

I'd never heard of this guy so I decided to do a search, this was one of the top few results:

Says he was in a movie made 2007

I read on an abc.com article that he was a war re-enactor:

Eric Frein, a war reenactor obsessed with Eastern European armies and weaponry, was arrested and charged with grand larceny in 2004 after stealing uniforms from a World War II reenactment in New York. He requested a jury trial, but never appeared.

So him being a war re-enactor could mean the IMDB entry is him, so if you want proof of him existing prior, rent that movie and look out carefully for him.
