This ain't Hell. . .

Chief Tango sends us a link to Media Equalizer which reports that ISIS/ISIL/Islamic State is using photoshopped images like the one above to deflect criticism from their atrocities, blaming the horrors on Americans who are fighting with them.

"In the latest example, ISIS terrorists have been re-branded as American soldiers committing massacres while wearing Muslim garb. It’s a way of deflecting away blame for their atrocities. In America, it has fooled many on Twitter and elsewhere, so it could be considered a success so far. It has spread rapidly today."

But it is absolutely a hoax.

The original photo sans tattoo (from the Daily Telegraph) is at the link above. I haven’t seen any of the pictures on social media, but I don’t doubt that they’re out there. So the war against the troops is coming home on our computer screens.

Misinformation, disinformation, propaganda, commercialism. . . I don't know what to believe anymore other then it all stinks!
My friend sent me a link to this telling me, "Look you were right what you said the other day, ISIL has American's running the show!"
I emailed him back: that's not what I said entirely. Just that we can't rule out american involvement or funding at one time or another. Not that we are actually sending our special forces over to Iraq with black burkas, white toyotas and russian AK's. But after seeing this photo I could not un-convince him and felt like doing this:
Well here is an apparent hoax by ISIL, so it's stated, trying to make it look like americans are part of the team. But tell me after everything the USA is doing to push the media involvement in this event with their own ISIL propaganda released yesterday, I seem to be left with a bad taste in my mouth now.
Who made who?

They are well trained, watch how they handle guns (look at their trigger finger).

Or look at the obvious signs of photoshopping around the tatoo. The skin-tone is not even the same.

Because only Americans could possibly train a person to use a firearm properly.

It's a moot point; the tattoo is clearly photoshopped. This is nothing but propaganda.

What about that classy Rolex / Omega on their self proclaimed prohpet of the calliphate's wrist?

I didn't think Islam had a lot of jewlry in it, sure, patterns and tesselation and so on in designs but not Jewlry per se, or adornment of such jewlry.

You efforts are wasted here. ATS members are more intelligent than you think.

I'll take the time to respond anyways. A Rolex can be worn by a person from outside America.

But it doesn't matter, because the image in the OP is FAKE.

Of course
I was just pointing out they are well funded, and not true Islamic people especially at the important positions of the ISIS.

They don't even follow their own religon.

And the fact that ISIS was and enemy of the US before it even got to Iraq. While it was trying to take the Royal Family out in Jordan they assasinated a US diplomat which brough US and Israeli intelligence agencies along with Jordans forces down on them forcing them to run and hide in Iraq. Where after the US invasion they would fight the US. And then in Syria the would fight the US backed FSA and Kurds, and then do the same in Iraq. Everything ISIS has done has been hostile to US interests. Saddam though about using them but, never did. Assad used them for awhile against the FSA but, as soon as the FSA was beat down the turned back on Assad. ISIS created itself and its only interest are in itself.

This is exactly what I'm talking about now, bad, bad, bad taste it is!
But I'm still waiting for the reply that the tattoo in question, is a photoshop replacement of the exact same tattoo. Basically a cover up, to cover up, the cover up!
Makes perfect sense to me.

Everyone has chosen one of the many takes on this issue and now we are all left with a diluted amount of people fighting amongst each other yet again. Seems to be the growing trend, but why?

This whole thing smells to high heaven and soon it's going to choke the entire lot of us!
Personally, I give up. . . the system is broken, governments, internet, information, education.

I find myself looking for the proverbial reset button to humanity, it has to be here somewhere.
I want to push it!

If your eyes can't see what's right in front of you in the OP, then no amount of explaining will help.

But you already know the truth, don't you?

This is clearly Putin's fault.

I sent an email to Marie Haaf for Twitter confirmation.
