The IRS may have those missing Lois Lerner emails after all.

A Department of Justice attorney told Judicial Watch that they back up everything – just in case.
“Everything that we’ve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing emails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, it’s all been a pack of malarkey […] There’s no such thing as Lois Lerner’s missing emails, it’s all been a big lie.

'All Been a Big Lie’: Judicial Watch Says DOJ Atty. Admitted Lerner Emails Exist

I think most of us here on ATS have been saying this all along.

They had a back up of the emails.

Now that we know the Emails still exist, heads need to roll over this and people actually put in jail!

The vise is clamping tighter and tighter.

People see the complete scandal and corruption.

Does this mean Lois Lerner is no longer the 5th Baroness of Shillington ?

Of course it was a big lie.

No one in IT, or frankly anyone with government agency experience, ever believed these emails were lost.

The fact they worked so hard not to disclose them makes them all the more important.

Well. That is not very suprising. I have worked for many companies, big and small. One thing is always almost usually the same - retention of records. In today and yesterdays technology landscape, it is not difficult to implement an email archival system. What has changed over the years is how it is stored and parsed.

ANYONE in IT knows this, why we dont hear people with even a small amount of IT experience screaming about this on a mainstream venue is beyond me.

They not only are required by their own federal laws to retain records for many many years, but also typically do so for their own convenience.

Government has very far reaching abilities, including IT infrastructure. If anyone believes the emails were lost and email backup was just an oversight, you are really really...meh whatever you get the idea

We've read here many times that dates on servers can be manipulated. So I guess fake emails can be presented too as "Hey we told you there's nothing to see here." I doubt rewriting emails and dating them appropriately isn't all that difficult to do, but maybe a forensics specialist can try to match them to recipient emails if they haven't messed with them as well.

But that would be tampering with evidence !!!

Well hopefully the investigators would do their due diligence and compare emails recovered from backups to subpoenaed emails from the various agencies and service providers of the recepients.

If they did that, it would be very very difficult to change the recovered emails.

The only goal was to stall until after the elections, so the Democrats wouldn't lose control of Congress on the corruption issues.

Certainly ATS knew the E-mails existed. Obama knew they existed. Issa knew they existed. The only question was how long could the truth be hidden from the public?. Delay certainly worked for Fast and Furious, sequester shutdowns designed only to hurt the public, the Benghazi video, and so much more.

The next step is to abandon 2016 to the Republicans just as the country falls to ruins and try to blame them for Obama's offenses. it will probably work.

Maybe they don't want to reveal all the dirt they have on the tea party too. Republicans wouldn't just sit by and let innocent republicans get blacklisted by the government. What kinda group names themself after a terrorist act like the boston tea party? You don't hear about groups called "smallpox ridden blanket democrats".

Valid point.

But what "Dirt" would that be?

The IRS already exposed all they had.

For the most part the old guard and leadership Republicans loath the Tea Party. It's everything they fear, Constitutional government, smaller government, less taxes. That's just the regular republicans. The RINO's hate them even worse.

As far as the emails go yeah I agree with most here, there was no way anyone believed that big fat lie about them being lost. I can't even remember an email server/system that didn't handle data retention. Stalling tactic for sure until elections.

Last I checked you can't walk up to gchq or Buckingham palace and buy tea from them. Methinks they were merchant ships carrying tea or some other third party innocent bystander.

It was not about the Tea per say.
But about the precident that up to that time in History,
an ordinary person could finally own the Land.
Not some Government, ie Communism
OR a King,ie Divine Right,
,but each individual person could freely own a piece of this new Land as freemen,,working for a freely given opportunity for peace and happyness, for there own families and wellbeing.

It was a time which will never happen again.
The new World,,a new start a new place of hope.

lol. Your version of history is interesting as communism didn't exist yet until marx wrote das kapital. I guess in your history book (which I'm guessing was written in the 1950s) it says "in 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue ....to escape communism"

No offense but I think what really happened was "back then people dreamed of a country where drugs are legal and without extradition where one could own land and an athletic black family to work said land"

Until the constitution was written anyway.

This was just them buying time to destroy any emails from the backup that implicate Obama. They had to make sure there are no other existing copies which would show the backups had been altered.

Actually Marx took ideas from others. Communist ideas can be traces back to B.C.

yeah right,,

",Neither was there any among them that lacked:
for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them,
and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

And laid them down at the apostles' feet:
and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need."
that was Communism,,

what u refer too is Marxism,,not Communism.
