And the plot thickens! I don't believe it will not to far in the future we have boots on the ground...I hope not.
Two of my friends lost their kids in Iraq.

claring that the beheading of an American journalist was a terrorist attack on the United States, the Obama administration said Friday that it was weighing how to confront Islamic State militants in Syria, in what would be a major escalation of U.S. efforts to defeat the extremists.

Okay so we don't 'invade' and then ISIS or ISIL does what they want. Or we "put boots on the ground" and kick their ass.

I say we kick their ass.

Yeah...It looks like that this ISIS profits from Obama's political ideology, the "put an end to wars" ideas (LOL) and they do the biggest atrocities just when USA is calming down....

EDIT: USA should make a hard intervention on this situation

NO let it fester and become a country so we can get as many as possible. It's horrible about the moderates but they haven't stopped the issue and we must win this circle of revenge we both have locked into. WE don't need to pour our children into that crapshoot.

I'm not crazy about "boots on the ground," but ISIS are nothing but savage animals and the world somehow needs to eradicate this cancer from the face of the Earth.

If America learned one thing from Bin Laden it was HIT EM IF YOU GOT A BEAD ON EM!!!

Who cares where it is,this is 2014 and America and the other Superpowers can do anything they want within their reasoning, only they can police each other and NONE of them are willing to give up their own right to kick the snot out of little pests trying to rock their boats,it is nature at her deadly best.

America needs to get all Olympic Bombers on their arses and hunt down all but one of them, you know the olde fashioned way FOREVER UNTIL THEY ARE DEALT WITH NO TIME LIMITS.

All we need to do is allow for a Global Terrorism Treaty which provides for unilateral permission to pursue agreed upon terrorists AT WILL and to ENGAGE at will, defining a threat to one as a legitimate threat to all, with stakeholder countrys absorbing collateral damage willfully.

Lets just expedite the process and take away time and space which is all these terrorist types have to work with really.

Who wouldnt agree to such a Global Treaty, we could concievably see within a year or tow,Humnaitys first Global Military Task Force, comprised of Military from ALL signed on Countrys with the GREEN LIGHT to enforce Humanitarian support GLOBALLY AND INSTANTLY,this way when we see 300 young girls kidnapped and we want them back,we GET them back. When a terrorist group trys to hide in a member Country they get NO LEAD TIME THAT A TERMINAL STRIKE IS IMMINENT.If member country Governments get extremely short notice of strikes there is very little room for leaking data.

Right now we should be seeing 200,000 troops hitting the Ground funded supplied and supported by the Worlds super-Powers and Member Countries. And ISIS would already be on ice. No Geneva Convention applications for a Global Humnitarian Task Force means waterboarding will be youir dream and no one will hold back data when there are no rules.

It is time to tke Global Security seriously, terrorist groups are upping the ante every year, and WMDs are getting easier and easier to build and deploy.

We cannot risk anything sparking an unintentional world war,but we also must remove this card from terrorist hands by creating a set of rules ALLOWING the deployment of NUKE against them if needed. If we can Nuke a few Mountains to solve a Global Threat then we need to be able to do it .

Can you imagine the MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of applicants you would get if a Global Humanitarian Task Force was set up? EVERYONE wants to help the world be a better place today, you could mobilise hundreds of millions of people Globally in no time.

It is TIME FOR THIS.

I don't see how we can attack the Syrian Rebels on the ground while still supporting them with air drops or whatnot.

A NWO army? hmmmm that could be the foot in the door to a world government.
Any country that supports terrorist could have their leaders killed and the world government could take over ruling the country, just to make sure that no more terrorist supporters are put in power of the country.

Some good old fashioned capitalism and some wal-mart super stores will put an end to terrorism.Nobody can resist material goods, make sure they have enough money and enough goods to buy and they will soon lose interest in being terrorist.

achmed: "raheb! strap a bomb to yourself and go blow up that building!"

raheb:" but..but..but achmed I just bought a new big screen T.V. and an Xbox 360, with 10 new games! i`m not going to blow myself up!"

if you have nothing then you have nothing to lose by dieing, if they have something to live for then they won`t be so eager to die.
in short, make the world full of middle class workers with plenty of goods to buy and people won`t be so eager to throw their lives away.

That's why you're not a high ranking US official. Gotta have that doublethink going at all times.

Which is WHY they are showing it to you so you get upset and want to attack.
They want another war ,don't let them do it,just say NO.

IMO, you'd have to be a complete idiot to believe sending boots in would be a good idea. Many reasons, just look what happened in Vietnam (In context to fighting in someone elses land, they clearly have the upper hand) and look at what happened last time we tried to eliminate a terrorist group from the Middle East....

Also, I#ve read we're going to have to back Assad, yet we don't classify them as an ally? Sorry, but what's stopping Assad from turning his army against us when we are in their country? Just a thought

If not this there will be something else come along to justify an intervention on Syrian soil. Some very knowledgeable people think this will end up being a three state affair which is what was wanted all along. All we have to look at is the false pretense of Syria using chemical weapons not to long ago... again shown to be wrong.. but airstrikes and invasion were in the works based on a false pretense.

Isis is doing the dirty work at present and when their usefulness is spent they will be dealt with IMO. In the mean time innocent non combatants are being killed because the are not of this particular brand of the religion of peace or Christen or just some kid or woman.

I doubt it would be that hard to get several countries to chip in men and material to go and exterminate the Isis rats. However their useful purpose is not complete so IMO TPTB will let this sore fester until it can not be ignored or they have completed their mission.. Then the needle will be used to lance the boil.

ISIS is certainly a real threat but not just to the US or the EU

So no boots should touch the ground in Iraq or Syria unless there are also Russian, Chinese, Iranian, Saudi, troops also on the ground

Errr

Firstly you clearly haven't a clue about Vietnam, Vietnam was extremely difficult jungle terrain, if that's not hard enough, mass tunnel networks in jungle terrain

Secondly Assad turning on NATO? That would be the most one sided fight in decades, you'd think Assad would appreciate the help and know he would be massively out of his depths
