I'm assuming they were hoping the Israelis would retaliate-shell and kill a few journalists, which would have been kicking PR for Hamas.

www.ndtv.com...

Apparently they didn't say anything until they left Gaza. Very wise.

So they were able to get pics of video of the tent, video of the people, even video of the wires but not one pic of the rocket itself. Where is the video of the rocket taking off? It was right out side their window there is no way they couldn't have gotten any video of it. Seeing how all they got was an explosion and smoke Hamas (if those people were Hamas) could have just been setting off an unexploded shell and not a rocket.

This report is being aired on NDTV and published on ndtv.com after our team left the Gaza strip - Hamas has not taken very kindly to any reporting of its rockets being fired. But just as we reported the devastating consequences of Israel's offensive on Gaza's civilians, it is equally important to report on how Hamas places those very civilians at risk by firing rockets deep from the heart of civilian zones.

The more Palestinian civilian deaths the better for HAMAS. Just look how that logic has worked here on ATS. I have never seen more hate for Israel, (I know...its only the Zionists you hate). Get your own people killed and get the sympathy of the world.
What a world, black is white, right is wrong, evil is good.
Come quickly Lord

Oh yes, explode a shell there..all concealed in a residential area..Did you really say that and you're actually sticking up for a Hamas..

Wow.

Nice video of a tent.

Obviously, people working under a tent with "scary wires" must automatically = rockets.

"It's a tent! Everyone, Run! The scary Muslims are going to get us!"

Just another propaganda piece.

Deny ignorance, people. Really.

Who benefits from the impotent Qassam rocket attacks?

Certainly not the Palestinian people.

Over the past twelve years, approx.12,000 Qassam rockets have been fired into Israel with a kill rate of less than 0.217%.

source: mondoweiss.net...

If Israel was capable of pulling off an extremely sophisticated 9/11 false flag attack on America, they're certainly capable of pulling off extremely crude Qassam rocket false flag attacks.

Towards the end of the video on that page, they have video of the rocket launch.

Why does the video cut out before the rocket is 'fired'?

Why are no hamas rockets shown or anything related to hamas seen in the film?

Why is this being taken as proof of any of this occuring?

All of these lead me to reasonably conclude this is a false flag, unless they wanted to produce un-cut video of a rocket being fired or even of a rocket at all that's the best assumption, as Israel did it before with the '3 kids' pull. They are trying to do it again and astroturf anyone who offers opposition.

With all due respect, sir. It is video of smoke.
Could it be from a rocket? Possibly. Could it be from something else entirely? Sure.
Not once in the video do we see a rocket. It seems the journalist in this piece was watching this unfold for quite a while. Surely, he would have seen (and filmed) "hamas" bringing the rocket to this "launch site". But yet, he didn't.
Coincidence? I think not.

Because the rocket wasn't fired until the morning after it was set up. When the journalist and crew heard it launch they began filming immediately hence the trail.

EDIT: We could have caught that rocket mid flight with "greetings from hamas" scribbled on it and some of you would claim it was a care package...filled with puppies.

Damn...yall can make my head hurt sometimes with all the wtf moments I'm forced to shout about out loud.

Israel is capable of doing lots of nasty things. False flag wouldn't be the first time for them.

Thank you for the link OP.

Unfortunately, there are those who will remain steadfast in their denial of the deplorable tactics being used by Hamas, and continue to chastise Israel for retaliating against a vile enemy in extremely difficult circumstances.

To know the danger level first you would have to know what kind of shell it was if it was an unexploded mortar shell it could have been set off there. For all we know it could have just been a smoke bomb. Did you choose to overlook there is no evidence at all that there was a rocket there?

But still wasn't able to get a single pic of the rocket and never once did they try to get a pic after it was set off. The rockets Hamas uses are not super sonic.

Mind taking a still shot of said "rocket"? These guys are sitting on proof of Hamas firing rockets from this area that Israel would pay big bucks for and they can't get one pic of it?
