Hey Guys.

I want to write about events in my life from memories but not sure where to start, spelling and grammar is not my strongest points.
Also how would you word events that happened in you're life that would be understood by others reading it?

Also what is acceptable to include in my story the truth or a white washed version.

like not using real names and such?

places?

Anyone with any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mods if this post is in the wrong forum please move it thank you

Have you ever seen that show on tv called "the wonder years?"

I think using fictional names is coolest to loved-ones,
the way that kid told his stories always had my ear.

Befriending the reader first, is what I like to call it.
Now if I just had the nerve to publish my most sensitive material...(@ mercy of inner-child taking-over)

I always find the best way to start these kind of stories is to begin with your earliest memory and go from there. Depending on how you want your story to go or to he known, aether for something moving or comedic, start off with something that will capture the attention of the reader.

As for using the truth or a white washed version of it is really up to you and what you feel comfortable doing. We are just the readers here you're the one telling the story.

Good luck!! Hope my advice helps :-)
