What amounts to absolute bribery and political and financial extortion is perpetuated on the US congress by the Sinister Lobby known as AIPAC, all in order to protect and shelter Israel from the consequence of their international crimes against humanity and the Palestinian people.

“Originally called the American Zionist Committee for Public Affairs, the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was an offshoot of the American Zionist Council, changing names in 1963. With a sole purpose to advocate for the state of Israel, AIPAC ought to be listed with the US government as a Foreign Agent; instead, the Committee continually denies receiving any funds from Israel.

Once you bribe a member of Congress you own their souls.

And they are forever corrupt in other regards as well...

“One of the most influential lobbying groups in America, it is often argued that no politician can be elected into office without AIPAC’s support. No president can take the White House without affirming unbreakable allegiance to Israel, and attendance at the annual AIPAC meeting is mandatory. Once in office every member of Congress is expected to act, vote and defend the state of Israel on almost every issue, or face the consequences.

They watch them in the US congress like a wolf watches lambs

AIPAC watched every political race in every election, she explained. Whether local or national, AIPAC had dossiers on every candidate, grading each according to their loyalty to the Israeli state.

Once the newly elected moved into their new offices in Washington DC, Sarah would lead a delegation of AIPAC members to the capital city to pay them a courtesy visit. The new Congressmen and women welcomed the lobby, AIPAC merely expressing good wishes for their new terms. The meeting would last less than twenty minutes, nothing but pleasantries and a photo-op having passed. Upon leaving the team would then add, “Anything you need to know about the Middle East, contact us. We’ll provide whatever information you need. Here is our telephone number, and someone will get back to you right away.”

If any Senator or Congressman gets an inch out of line, AIPAC and other Israeli-first Americans will destroy the political career of such a one.

“Yet when a torrent of money from out of state American Jewish organizations smashed Earl Hilliard, first elected black congressperson in Alabama since Reconstruction, you could have heard a mouse cough. Hilliard had made the fatal error of calling for some measure of even-handedness in the Middle East. So he was targeted by AIPAC and the others. Down he went, defeated in the Democratic primary by Artur Davis, a black lawyer who obediently sang for his supper of the topic of Israel.” www.counterpunch.org...

Then there was the well known Congresswoman from Georgia, Cynthia McKinney…

Then it was McKinney’s turn. A terrific liberal black congresswoman. Like Hilliard she wasn’t cowed by the Israel right-or-wrong lobby and called for real debate on the Middle East. And she called for a real examination of the lead-up to 9/11. So the sky fell in on her. Torrents of American Jewish money showered her opponent, a black woman judge called Majette. Buckets of sewage were poured over McKinney’s head in the Washington Post and the Atlanta Constitution

Later McKinney would aver: “'US lawmakers forced to support Israel' - Cynthia McKinney on PressTV

Skirting laws, AIPAC’s largesse was provided with heavy expectations. A Congressman knew that if he did not vote in favour of Israel in the next Bill, his perquisites would be dropped. Moreover, it was evident that support for his re-election bid was either guaranteed, or—if not pro-Israel enough—not only withdrawn but an organised campaign would ensue to make sure he was defeated.

AIPAC works with a heavy but quiet fist. It has been using propaganda and threats for decades because it works. Having tried unsuccessfully to influence the British government in the 1940s, the Zionist body switched to manipulating the US Congress because it was an easier more malleable target, as the officials admitted themselves.

Thanks to the multi-million dollar multi-generational policy of organisation couple with implied blackmail, every US Senator and Representative will at the very least look the other way when Israel continues to violate international laws, occupy and steal Palestinian territory, illegally blockade Palestinians, and bomb innocent civilians. The alternative is the end to a political career”

So what amounts to the corruption of the US governing bodies of the Congress and the president is the result of the policies and actions of AIPAC and in-fact other Israeli-First Americans.

10 Reasons Why the Israel Lobby AIPAC is So Dangerous

www.occupyaipac.org...

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is one of the most powerful lobby organizations in the country. AIPAC’s clout helps fuel a never-ending cycle of violence in the Middle East.
Here are ten reasons why AIPAC is so dangerous.
1. AIPAC is lobbying Congress to promote a military confrontation with Iran.
2. AIPAC promotes Israeli policies that are in direct opposition to international law. These include the establishment of colonies (settlements) in the Occupied West Bank and the confiscation of Palestinian land in its construction of the 26-foot high concrete “separation barrier” running through the West Bank. The support of these illegal practices makes to impossible to achieve a solution to the Israel/Palestine conflict.
3. AIPAC’s call for unconditional support for the Israeli government threatens our national security. The United States’ one-sided support of Israel, demanded by AIPAC, has significantly increased anti-American sentiment throughout the Middle East, thus endangering our troops and sowing the seeds of more possible terrorist attacks against us. Gen. David Petraeus on March 16, 2010 admitted that the U.S./Palestine conflict “foments anti-American sentiment, due to a perception of U.S. favoritism for Israel.” 4. AIPAC undermines American support for democracy movements in the Arab world. AIPAC looks at the entire Arab world through the lens of Israeli government interests, not the democratic aspirations of the Arab people. It has therefore supported corrupt, repressive regimes that are friendly to the Israeli government, such as Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak
5. AIPAC makes the U.S. a pariah at the UN. AIPAC describes the UN as a body hostile to the State of Israel and has pressured the U.S. government to oppose resolutions calling Israel to account. Since 1972, the US has vetoed 44 UN Security Council resolutions condemning Israel’s

Great thread! S&F. I believe AIPAC to be a foreign, terrorist lobby who is aiding treason through force, or by bribery, and other crimes. Many in congress are at their mercy and controlled by them and the ones who are not will get crushed, like you provided above. I was surprised that Ron Paul didn't get silenced when he was talking about the fed in such ways. AIPAC is a cancer and have no interest in America, only Israel.

I was just watching a documentary on this. It's corruption at its best. Although it was biased against israel so not sure how accurate the documentary was. Important to keep this in mind.

It was stating how even presidents have to comply otherwise they would not get re-elected.

Why is it that whenever there is a conflict, the US always has involvement.

Seems to me, after understanding the US economy, they are desperate to keep the dollar afloat, killing millions is not as important as the US dollar. Time the dollar was killed off in my opinion, its (the US govt,)causing far too much death...but that is another thread.

One thing to consider,

These politicians that are supporting Israel just to keep their positions, are just as bad. They see their jobs as being more important than peoples lives. While ever they comply with AIPAC, AIPAC will continue to manipulate as much as they can.

They should get together and make a stand, instead they take the easy route and pretend to support Israel just to keep their jobs.

Just like the conflict itself......they are as bad as each other.

I agree 100%. Let's also not forget that the Muslim Brotherhood have massive Lobbying powers as well and have for decades. It's a double edged sword and the whole lot should be kicked to the curb. Lobbying should be made unlawful.

I was not in the least surprised today to in itially read that the Senate had voted against not giving aid to Israel or its iron dome twotsie and then - suddenly the reverse is the case - funding all agreed.

In the UK we have a desperately sad and quite disgusting situation about paedophile rings within the corridors of power running from our institutions to the royal household. Despite this we are seeing no high-profile prosecutions except a mix of old boys from the tv etc and a few faces removed from the Front Bench for various reasons and most people have found out about Jimmy Saville, much loved by the royals and an elbow rubber with the elite although only after his death. We know the Government did try to form an enquiry into alleged and proved abuse by putting some 80 year old Baroness Schloss in the seat of power for it. However once it got around that her married brother, some high court judge, had been caught curb-crawling and stating he liked prostitutes in Africa as well as the UK her services were no longer required thank heavens.

One of our alternative groups for whom I have a lot of respect for, the 'We Want Change' group promotes the idea that were the public to be told the extent of this behaviour and who was, is probably still is involved, the outraged would bring down our institutions and government and others involved. Which is a huge deal for any country.

Now my reasoning is that if we have this kind of scandal being swept under the carpet here, its an obvious means of blackmail and silence buying tool probably being used elsewhere. It would take a group of highly specialised personnel to get the evidence of this kind of behaviour and that is something we know groups like AIPAC have, it would also answer why we have such a Western world silence on Israel's behaviour and violations etc as well as the enormous amount of foreign country's tax payers money heading to Israel instead of being used for those who need that money in the countries that earned it.

I am ashamed of some of my country's politicians and highflyers within our institutions and their behaviour in this matter and I don't mean any disrespect to other country's politicians and institutions but I doubt this is only happening in the UK. Just the threat of this type of exposure also because it is such a emotive matter at this time with the paedophelia exposed throughout the catholic church, even if a politician were innocent, I doubt it would take too much to threaten to bring forth false evidence which would make anyh politicians comply - even if to save his family from the shame of such a charge.

I do think AIPAC and groups like it should be thoroughly investigated and if evidence or witnesses confirm blackmail, they should be disbanded and face trial for crimes against humanity. I would prefer even to give some form of protection to politicians were they in this trap just to get rid of this disgusting situation that we are likely facing.

Thank you so much for this thread!
I have tried all of my life to understand politics, why America always backs Israel- now it makes sense.
Your thread is the 'missing link' for me.

The latest example of what OP points out is Rand Paul. A "libertarian" that has made a 360 turn on Israel. He has been doing some serious ass licking on the jewish lobby lately. I wonder what his father thinks about all that? I remember how people made threads about Rand here on ATS, having faith that he would continue in his fathers footsteps. Your political system is rotten to the core.

Rand Paul is likely running for president in 2016. He knows one can’t be president without AIPPAC support or at least one can’t be president unless they kowtow to their precious Israel.
If he expresses any degree of what his father says about Israel he could forget getting the GOP nomination. They will likely kick him out of the race.

The U.S. has cast the sole vote against establishing an investigation by the United Nations into war crimes committed in Gaza.

Yesterday, the United Nations Human Rights Council voted 29-1, with 17 abstentions, to establish an inquiry. The United States was the only no vote. The European nations on the council all abstained.

US Senate unanimously approves $225m funding for Israel's Iron Dome.
Lawmakers reached an agreement overnight to pass the missile defence system funding measure

The US Senate unanimously passed legislation on Friday to provide $225m in emergency funding for Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.

An earlier version of the funding plan had failed on Thursday when Senate Republicans blocked a broader spending bill that was largely intended to provide money to handle the current immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border.

But lawmakers reached an agreement overnight to pass the missile funding measure.

To become law, the funding plan must still pass the House of Representatives and be signed by President Barack Obama. Given US lawmakers’ traditionally strong support for Israel, it is not expected to encounter significant resistance in the House.

Ahh, now the sole vote makes sense ...
