Ah the vaunted Bush defense.... The last resort when a person has run out of excuses. Bash them all? How far should we go back? Let me be the first, Thomas Jefferson had slaves!

And It seems the "Bush 'em" defense is actually being used right off the bat lately.

They won't even consider any genuine rebuttals

GWB the longest 'serving' president in American history.

That is like their American Express card.

They never leave home without it.

And the debris from the damage that his administration caused is so vast that it's no wonder that Obama has spent so much time running about with a shovel. Come on - Daddy Bush's pals placed him in the White House after losing the popular vote, 9/11 happened on his watch, he put two wars on the credit card, both of which have destabilised the region around them, a tax cut that was a disaster, a total failure to address the healthcare problems, a total failure to address America's infrastructure deficiencies, a middle class that is being squeezed, an upper class that's even more obscenely rich than ever, catastrophic deregulation that led to the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, a total and utter failure to address global climate change and if I start to talk about his Supreme Court choices I'll froth at the mouth. The man was a catastrophe from start to finish.

I think my friends of which I usually agree with politically are missing the point. Even if symbolic it is a waste of time, resources, political capital, focus and legitimacy.
It is the same type of mistake the Tea Party made when calculating the shut down and its' consequences. Its principals were sound but the cost to the nation was too great.
We are a nation closer to the center than the extremes in our makeup and grandiose acts don't go over well with voters.

But it's Obama's fault. I'm far from an Obama supporter, and he's done nothing to make things better, but Dubya started this whole ME mess and ruined the economy with his taxpayer funded bailouts. Too big to fail, my ass. So much for letting the market driven economy taking care of things.

You really are confused it was Bush that said that.

Surely you can provide a link where Obama said that.

Honestly, at this point.

Neither Political Party has a smidgen of credibility.

Bachman just glommed onto the Tea Party.

The Tea Party was a group of citizens that have had enough.

Much like myself...

Sure do and ATS search

Where the IRS targeted conservatives.

Then do another ATS search where the administration targeted journalists like James Rosin with it's proxy the DOJ.

Then do another ATS search about a guy named D'nesh D'Souza.

Really sitting there trying to say that isn't true of them ?

They have consistently ABUSED the power of their office.

I don't buy it, I did not buy the Patriot Act either. Boehner knows Republican are not going to win the Presidency for decades. That is what this about. Transferring Power. If they do not care about our sick veterans, you really believe this is a benevolent move?

Where the IRS targeted conservatives.

They also targeted liberal groups funny how FOX didn't cry about that. Also FOX didn't point out that the groups were trying to get a tax status that by the tax laws they couldn't have so they lied on their applications in a attempt to get them.

Really sitting there trying to say that isn't true of them ?

When did this thread start talking about the IRS? When did Obama write a EO making that happen? This thread is about the right whining about Obama and EO's and the guy at FOX is right where were they when Bush was going EO happy and has 111 more EO's to his credit than Obama. And seeing how we weren't talking about the IRS how could I say they were true or not? Now let's see some proof of Obama actually saying "If you are not with us you are against us" I'm sure some teabagger caught that on video.

you don't buy what? No, I don't think this is a benevolent act, I think it's stupid. Are you reading the thread or just knee jerking your liberal bias against Republicans. If Republicans don't win the Presidency so be it but that won't have as much to do with policy as it will demographics.

Funny that Senator Obama would agree with Bachman.

He was 'against' EO's before he was 'for' them.

I think Michelle Bachmann went off the deep end and rather than swim back? She found herself a little rowboat of ideaology to row off into the horizon of the far far far far right. (I think she'll come back around to the left, at the rate she's heading out there.)

When she comes back up for election....can the locals who elect her please do the nation a favor and this time, just stay home? Please?

They are a sad necessity of life when the majority party in the House goes raving mad and attacks him for everything that he says. FFS, they even screamed at Michelle Obama when she pointed out that healthy food at school might be a good idea.

Who is more crazy ?

Those who stand by and let the current administration and its cronies do whatever the hell they want.

Or those who are trying to END that 'reign of terror'.

I report you decide

The reporting is over and I have already decided.... AMF Mr. Obama
