Most of these are new to me, and are quite awe-inspiring. Sadly many of the pictures that are the most fascinating are also the most tragic. Here
are a few examples that really caught my attention:
Heart surgeon after 23-hour-long (successful) heart transplant. His assistant is sleeping in the corner.
Of all the pics, which are great captures defining the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" I felt a sense of helpfulness knowing I can
personally affect/aid that with some effort except the mars sunset one
That one makes me feel so small and insignificant

The condom demonstration one (#8 I believe) was too funny. All their faces! I really liked the one before that as well.
The WTC one confused me though. I'm sure I'm just missing something. Are they talking about the museum? Certainly not the INITIAL building of the
WTC?
Edit: I just wiki'd myself a bit on that confusion lol.

An excellent post, thank you.... All human life is here, though as a dog owner myself, the photos of dogs loyalty do it for me, and especially the
funeral of the dog trained to detect explosives....
That was amazing, I totally didn't expect this. With every slide passing I was like ''wow!''. I didn't expect it could ''wow!'' me 37 times
