So, we sent them $600 in case we 'trespass' again.

This is where we picked up the CTD (computer transmitted disease)...

We think we need a drink after this.

As luck would have it, we have a friend that delivers.

You really didn't send them $600 did you?!?!

It's a scam. I hope you know that.

You can just start your computer in safe mode and do a system recovery to the last save point and it will be gone.

I don't think ransomware and fraud pages have much of a place on this forum. I really hope my sarcasm detector has malfunctioned and you did not truly send them $600!

Whoever dd this is extorting you!

I had a friend fall victim to cyber crime multiple times, the scam he always fell for was the one where a girl from overseas keeps needing help with money so that she can move to the U.S. and marry him - a plane ticket, visa help, things like that - he didn't have much money, it was sad, he fell for it three different times though.

Of course, it's a scam.

No, we did not send them $600.
That's what the 'zorgon tongue' is about.

This carp was posted to draw attention to the link that triggered it.

And WWW @ CYBER POLICE is a nice touch.

Looks like something SLAYER (Hi buddy) might dream up whilst on a walkabout.

So you're saying that the government is using malware to keep people from searching for certain keywords?

Is there other searches that bring up similar threatening webpages? Is it only in a Bing search?

It's a shock when you first see it though, then you laugh and start up in safe mode and get rid of it.

I probably get 3 calls a week on this one.
I have a whole selection of the snapshots that one version of this particular virus takes using the built in webcam in most laptops. It snaps a picture of you after about 5 seconds of flashing whatever cybercrime lock screen is used and posts it in the corner of the screen along with your ip address.
Funny as hell the expressions on their face after being informed that they have been caught downloading porn!

After I remove the virus I usually leave a copy of the picture on their desktop just as a reminder that free porn is not always free!
