indiatoday.intoday.in...

A 3-year-old boy in the Golan Heights region near the border of Syria and Israel said he was murdered with an axe in his previous life. He showed village elders where the murderer buried his body, and sure enough they found a man’s skeleton there. He also showed the elders where the murder weapon was found, and upon digging, they did indeed found an axe there.

In his book, “Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today,” German therapist Trutz Hardo tells this boy’s story, along with other stories of children who seem to remember their past lives with verified accuracy. The boy’s story was witnessed by Dr. Eli Lasch, who is best known for developing the medical system in Gaza as part of an Israeli government operation in the 1960s. Dr. Lasch, who died in 2009, had recounted these astounding events to Hardo.

The boy was of the Druze ethnic group, and in his culture the existence of reincarnation is accepted as fact. His story nonetheless had the power to surprise his community.

He was born with a long, red birthmark on his head. The Druse believe, as some other cultures do, that birthmarks are related to past-life deaths. When the boy was old enough to talk, he told his family he had been killed by a blow to the head with an axe.

It is customary for elders to take a child at the age of 3 to the home of his previous life if he remembers it. The boy knew the village he was from, so they went there. When they arrived in the village, the boy remembered the name he had in his past life.

A village local said the man the boy claimed to be the reincarnation of had gone missing four years earlier. His friends and family thought he may have strayed into hostile territory nearby as sometimes happens.

The boy also remembered the full name of his killer. When he confronted this man, the alleged killer’s face turned white, Lasch told Hardo, but he did not admit to murder. The boy then said he could take the elders to where the body was buried. In that very spot, they found a man’s skeleton with a wound to the head that corresponded to the boy’s birthmark. They also found the axe, the murder weapon.

Faced with this evidence, the murderer admitted to the crime. Dr. Lasch, the only non-Druze, was present through this whole process.

Interesting indeed , There are very few reports of past life experiences or even evidences to point out or prove such things even exist .
This seems to be a really good find and only reinforces the belief that there is something beyond our existence .. So..
What do people make of this ?

Interesting. Given it's a 3-year old, I'd be more concerned it's not a past life but he has psychic abilities. Given he's only three, it would be very hard for him to distinguish from any psychic visions and thinking it's actual memories.

But in all honesty, only time will tell.

wow!!! A crime solved by reincarnation!
But like the previous poster, the boy could be psychic.
I'd like the debunkers and skeptics debunk THIS one...

Wow...great read. I for one truly believe in reincarnation. I don't have any birthmarks that I can recall. I think I have one but can't remember where it is. My youngest son has one right in the middle of his stomach...nothing too big. I guess you could say the size of a bullet wound...ahhhh freaky!! My other boy has one I know & I'm thinking his is on his stomach to but I can't remember. Good thread.

AWESOME story. WOW. I wonder how many people in that part of the world will now question their own religious convictions now that they know reincarnation is real.

What stood out to me ... the speed at which this little fella reincarnated. He went missing in his first life four years ago ... and in this life he is only three years old ... which means he must have almost instantly become incarnate in his mothers stomach upon death and he incarnated very close to where he lived previously. Very quick. He had a mission ... to out his murderer.

Interesting. Thanks for posting.

While this is very possible I have to lean on the conception of reincarnation due to this from the story:

In that very spot, they found a man’s skeleton with a wound to the head that corresponded to the boy’s birthmark. -

jesus christ, this is awesome. whats especially crazy is the birthmark correlation. i've never heard of that aspect before. but its very interesting. my ex has a huge birthmark on the side of her hips. it makes me wonder what if any relation that mark has to a past life of hers. really got me thinking now...

i've seen some excellent cases of past life regression in books and documentary style shows. biography channel had a great show on children who had past life memories. and the evidences they were able to accumulate, the memories they were able to verify were amazing. truly amazing. in my mind, there's no more proof needed. past lives and reincarnation is a fact.

great article. i'll be sharing it with some friends.

Wow.. I'm going to read more about this .. I just skimmed through and saw where it said he had a red birthmark on his head.. I wonder where it's located.. I'm gonna try and find that out. I have a red birthmark on my forehead, it was more noticeable when I was a baby, but then it faded. And now you can't see it unless I get angry or I'm crying...it shows up. It's above my nose ...like a line from the top of my hair line to the top of my nose.
Hmmm... Very interesting to me...

I've no memories of past life's but I do believe in reincarnation and I feel and know in my mind that I have not only lived this life...

Thanks for posting and sharing

Agreed. What the boy did was remarkable but not "proof of reincarnation".

What is proven is a chain of evidence leading to a murderer and a confession.

Fingered by the spirit world. "He did it".

I understand your thinking. No its not proof. It's circumstantial evidence at best, but still. It's evidence.

This is a great story, and I will for sure be sharing! Thanks op!

It is said that as we approach the end of this cycle we will incarnate much more rapidly. It is possible that because of the quick turnaround, I presume for all, perhaps we'll begin to see this more often. Not unlike bumping into someone you know halfway across the world. It's a small world.

Can you imagine? You are the killer that thinks they got away with murder and one day a three year old walks up to you, points a finger and says, "He did it".

If ever there was a Kodak moment…

That is an intriguing story. Humans have two lives. The first, lasts until age 3-5.

For some mysterious reason, the memory resets and all memories are lost of that time. You start all over with a different long term memory system. So everyone lives for a few years and is essentially born again. Children typically can't articulate clearly what they are experiencing, so the mystery remains. It definitely needs more study.

IMO, the world would be better off if ruled by a council of 5 year olds. Think about it. No religions, no memes at all. Just innate humanism.

I forgot the author's name, so I'll have to look it up and then edit this post, but there was some guy who did a "reincarnation study" years ago who found that these types of stories are evident in all walks of life, in all countries and all religions... not that they are a part of the religion, just that these stories come up regardless of religious belief.
EDITED TO ADD: The author's name was Ian Stevenson and the book I was thinking of is called "Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation". He authored around 300 papers and 14 books on the subject of reincarnation. This is the wiki page about him which does include his critics:

en.wikipedia.org...

While I do believe in a non angry, non-hell condemning version of the Christian God - I still believe in the possibility of reincarnation. Religion has taken the truth of an "afterlife" and turned it into a money making machine of control...but I'm getting off topic now.

Back on point, I said in a different thread a while back on a similar subject that my youngest daughter has a birthmark on her lower back - it's actually a group of freckles - that certainly looks like a shotgun blast. She doesn't have any memory of a past life or anything, but I still can't help but wonder if she was murdered in a "previous life" with a shot to the back. These types of threads are so interesting to me - S&F OP!

You've pretty much described the newest sequel to The Crow. I bet somebody in Hollywood just read this thread and is writing down some horribly contrived dialog right this very second.

Sorry to be skeptical, but where are the pictures? Not really any reason to believe this story as fact. This would be a perfect opportunity to show the crux of the story - the birthmark.

The boy then took the elders to where the body was buried

How did the boy know where the body was BURIED? I would guess he was quite dead before being buried. He might know where he was killed, but was he buried right there without being moved?

Faced with the evidence, the killer then admitted to the crime.

What evidence? That a person killed another person? There's just as much evidence that the three-year-old was the killer.

So, there is nothing to support the story but this.

The boy's full story has been documented in the book, "Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today" by German therapist Trutz Hardo.

I don't trust stories like this, especialy when they are from India.
