I apologize as this is not a real philosophical or technical thread.

It was big...it was slow and it was quiet (not silent)...long skinny triangle with white lights on each corner and a slow red blinking light in the middle...

Sorry... I don't have pics...
Anyone else?

WIlmington NC in the vicinity of GE Nuclear Fuels and WIlmington International...

Uuhhgg...the doubters.

Sorry for my late reply...as my neighborhood is being upgraded by TimeWarner Cable and my internet has been spotty...plus I've been working...anyhoo...

There is an airshow in Cherry Point NC this weekend.
All kinds of specials flying in...
This explains the sighting.

Air Force One is doing touchdowns today at ILM as well...

As far as being in the military...yes, I was...doesn't mean that I know every type of aircraft in the US arsenal past and present...or that I can intantly identify them when they fly overhead unexpectedly. Jeez...I'm not even that knowledgable in the way of aircraft anyway...I just know basics. If you want to ask me about special operations crisis staging and supply...I'm your gal.

Or...maybe I had some kind of 'something' to gain by posting a fake sighting...

Nah...

In the end...I'm stoked to have been able to see it.

I'm not too concerned with who doubts or believes...
It was just cool as hell...eerie...but cool.

Good for removing scoffers/trolls posts who mock at people who see something, like why doubt he saw some military aircraft?? ATS getting filled with parasites trolls of that kind..

Anyway, nothing surprising in military having such silent aircraft, that is probably not even high tech anymore. Which means, the whole triangle craft story are some military.

The question is why is this in Aliens & UFOs if it is an IFO (Identified Flying Object)?

Why people think "triangular aircraft" means "alien" is beyond me.

Anyway, nothing surprising in military having such silent aircraft, that is probably not even high tech anymore

A B1B? Not exactly quiet, but sort of triangular with the wings swept back. How's your hearing?

This thread was actually meant to be put in the Aircraft Projects forum...but it ended up in this one by accident...I didn't even realize it until your post. Sorry for the confusion...I NEVER thought the aircraft was "alien"...totally earth made...if a mod sees this and wishes to assign it to the correct forum...I'd appreciate that.
