I find that

a) the first person commenting, regardless of what they say, gets stars
b) some people will argue with the OP'er regardless of what they have to say, ie, you'll say white, they'll say black and they'll get stars to boot
c) some people don't have much to say, so they'll say something to the effect " I was thinking / going to say the same thing " and they'll get stars to boot
d) stupid posts, even thought they can be quite amusing and deserve so, don't necessarily get stars
e) like your avatar.....
