10 Animals with real super powers

I happen upon this video and felt the need to bring it to the mother ship and show my fellow ATS bros & sisters .

Don't know if they are realy superpowers, just developement of survival, which can be sometimes pretty cool indeed.
And we thought we humans were smart.

Fascinating creatures in that vid! Thanks for sharing. I like that mantis shrimp. Can I have one? LOL

Awww the pretty colors alone made me want to watch it even if ol boy just had to be a smartass. Thank you for the time and effort it was a nice change in direction for once. ATS should be renamed always talking s you know. Some people love to try and wreck every post i read. Btw i liked it. Would like to have the speed of the shrimp lol.

I did know of 9/10 of them.

If you watch GOOD TV like the PBS, you will see
MANY TIMES marvels like that ! ! !

Nice video but I'm not sure how the pistol shrimp stuns others without stunning itself.

I think three quarters of these super animals live in water and humid conditions (frog and centipede).
But all of them are really small.......why can't big animals have 'super' powers?
Is it because their size is their best line of defense?

Thank you for finding and sharing that video; love it! I especially love the mantis shrimp, it's one of my new favorite animals. Also love the hummingbird : one of the coolest birds around, imho, and my particular favorite species of bird. They're adorable.
