Today my daughter walked her dog at the local walking area. Its a large fenced field and is ideal because dogs can be set free without fear of them escaping.
There's a small group of poeple who regularly meet while walking their dogs, and today was no exception, there was six of them.
My daughter was the first to leave and when she said goodby to the others one of them said "Be carfull there's a rather large dog poo by the gate"

Puzzled, my daughter asked the woman how she knew about the poo.
The woman said "I just saw it on face book" and held up her phone as evidence.

Have they nothing better to do than to run home - log on to face book - and report they've just seen a dog poop in a field?
Meanwhile, others run about with their phone tuned into face book, ready to recieve the warnings about the dangerous dog poops!

There lives must be so exciting!

I just dont know what else to say!

Sign of the times. At least you don't have to clean the poo from her shoe.

It's on FB and now on ATS.

Maybe if we are lucky it will reach national news...

It has certainly become a sign of the times that people rely upon social media more for sharing and spreading information than ever before.

The drawback is that more people than everbefore are totally immersed in sharing totally banal and trivial information that does little to actually improve or enhance their short existence on this planet. The beauty of that though, is that it is entirely their choice - far be it from me to suggest otherwise.

Thankfully we all have that choice.

And the gadget zombies will be running the world soon...just imagine when they have been given the power to make decisions that effect the world.

How far will they go? I don't know but apparently not far enough to pick up the dog poo.

I was waiting for that
But my concern was not of the poop itself! I was concerned that people are so immersed in reporting everything that happens in their lives that they'll even report having seen a dog poop!
Where will it end? Will they start reporting the time and date of their own poops?

I was thinking about that myself, apparently the person in question has an app that reports anything of interest as she moves about, its like she moves about within a bubble, soon she'll be unaware of anything outside of the bubble.

And the person willing to take the pic would be just as sad as the person who reported the poop
