Draco don't technically fly, they use the skin between their legs and abdomen to glide between trees, usually to avoid predators or to attack prey, they're also incredibly hard to keep in captivity as you need permanent air movement so they don't get injured whilst trying to glide.

A Flintstones lighter!!! Yabba dabba dooby

I think this is old news though. I seen the pic of that lizard years ago.
These things are sorta like the flying squirrels here where I live, not in looks, but in technique.

No, you may not call that a dragon. That's a flying/gliding lizard of some sort. Doubt it can really fly, i.e. it only glides through the air like a flying squirrel; no doubt it doesn't breath fire; and it doesn't have scales.

Yep, it really was. Few animated movies are really awful or boring, unlike normal movies. And nothing beat Toothless in the extremely cute categories.

Lol, how many times does it need to be stated that it doesn't actually fly? We got that.

But anyway, that little dude is awesome. I wish I could have him for a pet.

Dragon or not a dragon, thank you OP for introducing me to a creature that I've never seen or heard of before.

OK, I'll admit it - my first thought was 'hoax' and I confess to resorting to searching to confirm that these little things do exist. Half hour of enjoyable reading / research and I think I have a new favourite animal - those things are indeed VERY cute and extremely cool

Some Satanic Leaf tailed Gecko can look very dragon like. They just need some wings.

If calling it a dragon makes you happy, than by all means call it a dragon.

LOL I am watching the Hobbit Desolation of Smaug ATM and I am at the part where he is talking to the Draggon. It is funny because I keep tinking of the tinny dragon. Hobbits would have to be a lot smaller to make the story work. Same with the treasure.

That they would, but he's really cute! I could see a terrarium setup with teeny little people, a "town" at a little water source, and so forth.
