Is My Edit Blurb a Lengthy Character-Set to Everyone, or Just Me?

I probably should have asked this question when I first came on here, but it's been truly bothering me ever since I registered. After I edit-to-add a post, is the blurb that's there no matter what I do appear long to everyone, or just to me? My other question is if it appears long to everyone, how do I make it appear like a shorter character set? When I see my own edit-to-add blurb, it seems like it's time stamped, time-zone stamped, day stamped, the whole nine yards; while others' ETA blurb just seems to be day stamped. If I'm not making myself clear, please let me know. It's sort of hard for me to describe what I'm talking about.

ETA: test edit.

This happened to me too, to fix: Go into your Account - In the Basic Info box (I had to switch my time from 24 hrs to 12) and then erase my username in the date display format box just below , hit submit and it reset itself.

I don't know if that's the "official" fix, but it worked for me.
