Chicago moving forward with migrant shelter evictions amid measles outbreak

City of Chicago getting ready to start their Migrant Eviction program!

Apparently there's a "limit" on how long Migrants can stay in some shelters.

Evidently this has been postponed on-again off-again because of "weather" 😀

And right in the middle of a spreading measles outbreak!!

The Chicago Department of Public Health announced Wednesday that a measles outbreak at the city’s largest shelter continues to spread. Two more cases have been confirmed, totaling 10.

CDPH says the two new cases are children, one of which is from the Pilsen migrant shelter, bringing the total number of cases — five children and three adults — at the temporary housing site to eight.

Despite a measles outbreak that has one site under a 21-day quarantine, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson indicated on Wednesday that evictions tied to the 60-day limit on migrant shelter stays would proceed, beginning at the end of the week.

“[Asylum seekers] can return to the loading zone…or they can decide to move on. They don’t necessarily have to remain within the structure we’re providing,” Johnson said.

Probably the most amusing part of this is that people who claim they don't believe viruses exist are sharing this story.

While there's a measles outbreak among children in Florida they're either ignoring of downplaying.

Evict them back to their country of origin.

Not worried about measles.

Evict them to do what? Where are they going, just on the street? Or shuffling to a different shelter and taking away space from American citizens who are homeless? What is even the point of having shelters for migrants then. Maybe we should shut down the border for awhile since obviously we don't have enough space to house all these poor refugees and that is a real shame. Maybe we can put some of them to work on the government dime building more shelters. Sounds like a liberal idea to me.

No the most amusing part is people that claimed there was not an immigrant crisis! Let's allow people from equatorial regions to come live in some of the coldest parts of the US with no support and force them to rely on the government! What could go wrong?

Your missing the point, the whole purpose of the shelters was to get people(in this case illegal aliens) to a specific location and then release them as little incubators.

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the shelters infected the newcomers intentionally.

The biden Administration with the CDC needs to spread those measles to infect as many children and adults as they can, it can not happen while the infected illegals are shelter, they need to be in the streets.

Pretty windy and cold in Chicago. I wonder where these people will go. Maybe someone should inform the illegals at the border they might be sent to a very cold area of the country and will be kicked out of the shelters when the temp goes above freezing. If that info gets sent back to Mexico and south america, maybe it will deter them from coming to the USA. I suppose now the Biden Administration will be targeting me for spreading disinformation.

Yep no jobs, no background, many do not even know how to read or write, but they will be owning homes.

To get even with President Trump, who wanted to send migrants back home, Chicago (Illinois) became a sanctuary for legals and illegals.

The Governor/Mayor are angry at Biden for not pushing through the latest "Immigration Reform" legislation. It would have provided a whopping $10 Billion dollars to Sanctuary Cities/States, so they could give free housing/school/medical/food/cash to the Legals and Illegals Biden invited in to America.

Wow struggling hard working Americans are getting rob by the democrats to pay for the illegals, all for votes.

America is really becoming the worst play for people that have work hard all their lives and still gets nothing.
