Mysterious object from Oregon

Hello ATS!



In the photo I have included a photo from a recent SNN article. The article itself is about the usual horrors for the USA - homeless people, drug addicts and everything in the same spirit in black and white photos. This is how it is here, in Russia, in the dashing nineties, but with a touch of foreign flair, like from old American action films.

What interested me in the article was a mysterious object that looked like a huge black caterpillar, which appeared in a photo of Oregon lawmakers participating in a ritual with their hands over their hearts. You can find the artifact on the top right, near the door.

Perhaps, dear members of the ATS, you know what this is? A quick search of the SCP Foundation's files did not yield any results.

Any opinions are welcome)))

Looks like one of those old air vent systems.
Nothing mysterious about it.
We have smaller silver ones in our basement.

That is a tube for ventilation I believe. I work in industrial manufacturing and we have those things all over the place. Pushing air into places that require extra ventilation.

I.agree. They were probably using it to pump in additional air conditioning.

It does look like industrial venting. If I had to guess there was construction or renovation going on in other room of that building.

I am looking at a black one right now….over there is a yellow one….o neat all the way across the factory a silvery one!

But in the photo he is black)))

Industrial vent. If they were doing construction in another part of the building, they use positive pressure to keep dust out of the main rooms.

It's a monochrome photograph.

It could be any dark colour, or if they are using a filter on the lens, simply a colour that doesn't get through the filter.

The fact that this thread got even a single flag scares the # out of me.

A lot of members here are saying air vent related.

Normally, I would agree. But not in an American political building.

Let me explain.

It is like a bank vacuum tube.

So when politicians in America get in trouble, they use these. (Disguised as a vent tube to trick the simple)

Say,for instance, a sitting US senator is accused of sexual assault. The politician goes over and sends a description of the problem, and a black budget bank account number along with instructions...pay off, neutralize, etc.

Once the politician in question is vette(D), the money is transferred through the tube to the fixer, who takes care of the problem.

In the event of of a double tap to the back of the head suicide, etc, the tube is big enough for the body. Diverters in the tube switch the path, much like a railroad switch, and the body goes right into the incinerator.

It's too sloppy to be permanent, if they were solid tubes the angles are all wrong, so you're probably right it's a temporary instalation of some sorts...
the hole they had to make into the wall is awfully big...

I've been trying to see stacked up chairs but that didn't quite work out as intended...

To be fair, one could consider the act of placing your hand over your heart and reciting the pledge a form of spell casting.

And for the fun of it, kinda weird and coincidental, as the saying of the pledge in schools waned, the country went down hill faster and faster.

Yes that is worrisome. But I want to know what are

What is this strange ritual? Invasion of the body snatchers? Or worse yet, Alien control? Enquiring minds want to know

Looks like a ventilation tube under positive pressure from an inline or squirrel cage blower fan that goes to an exterior wall/plywood-covered window opening.
...Or a giant bounce house for the kiddos
...Or another giant tax leech.
