Allergies? Or something hitting my sinuses hard. I mean like an unscratchable itch in my right nostril, where it just drains constantly, it's clearish. But has happened the last couple of days.

Taking Zyrtec and the nettie pot with warm salty water knocks it down but it comes back with a vengeance, my eyes are itchy and irritated too

Possible food allergy/intollerance? As we age it's not uncommon to develope a few-especially to things like dairy and chocolate.

I have developed a few food allergies, and due to a deviated septum (which I was unaware of until seeing an ENT specialist) it tends to affect one nostril far more than the uther. That tickling sensation is the worst! It feels like bugs dancing in your nose! lol

Doctors Remove 150 Bugs From Jacksonville Man's Head/Nose - Video
WARNING--GRAPHIC VID

This is straight out of a horror movie. Last Friday a man had 150 live bugs pulled out of the inside of his nose. And as unbelievable as this sounds, it also comes as a warning for people who have compromised immune systems.

The images that the camera showed baffled the doctor; dozens and dozens of bugs, alive and feeding on the inside of the patient's nose and sinus cavity

Hello Putnam,

What really helps is red light therapy, that's my experience.
I have an old warming lamp with a red light OSRAM Theratherm Delux 150 Watt bulb.
Nowadays there are infra red light therapy lamps, too.

For me the old red light warming lamp is sufficient.
It has other benefits too, like its good for the skin and has a calming influence on inflammations.

It is recommended to use eye protection for infrared light.
I use the (solely) warming lamp and open my eyes sometimes in between while I use the lamp.
Without eye protection better using the light shine on the sides of the face.
In fact I lost some eye problems, too.

In advance inform yourself about how to use the lamp.
Up to 3 times a day 10 - 15 minutes. Distance to the face minimum 30 cm.

With red light therapy you will get rid of your nasty problem soon.
And it has the advantage that you don't need to intake any substances.

Wish you a soon recovery.

Thank you I'll try anything at this point, slept about 2-3 hours off and on last night, and Zycam, a heating pad, steam even a massager offer temporary relief. I think my Mom has infra infrared thing for her knee or I'll check at the pharmacy. Been wanting to try the on my bad ankle or is that something different?

Thanks

LOL I supposed anything is possible, but it's not stuffy or full, it just feels inflamed and itchy. Putting the heating pad and Ive got a high-impact massager atleast knocks it down a bit.

Regardless Ive seen the worm in the ladie's brain video, but spiders

There is something going around. Don't assume that it is an allergy. I'm still with the remnants of it as does my partner. I have repeated told anyone that would listen that while it seems like a very mild cold, the attack on the nose is a real whopper, unlike I've ever experienced. I have had that strange tickling sensation also.

The amount of drainage is such that I have felt a dryness in my throat and head due to my body needing water in the nose and nasal cavities. Virtually no other symptoms.

Yeah heard that too, something hitting our respiratory symptoms, the drainage was off the charts for a while. If I can't find relief soon I'll go to the doctor.

If its just 1...sinus infect. If both, cold, flu, virus.

Allegies will affect equally, not choose 1 side. Don't take unnecessary meds. Get a sinus X-ray....

Get the infrared from your mother or buy one, its also available at amazon.
The cheapest red light lamp will work pretty good.

It could help on your ankle, too. Depends what's wrong with your ankle.
Do you know why you have that bad ankle?

Since Covid hit the world, nothing is the same as it was.
Our bodies just don't seem to react the same as they did.

And it is more than the simple aging process.

Honestly Putnam, I personally think it's all the additives being added to our food having a cumulitive effect that keeps getting worse as our bodies age and we lose the ability to combat the toxins.

Hamburger is about the only store bought meat I could eat, but the last several months I've noticed a change; it doesn't taste the same, and I don't feel great after eating a burger. Could be I've lost my tollerance for meat, but I think it's all the additives, fillers and preservatives. As if that's not enough, the pesticides in all food crops-including grains-and microplastics showing up at unpresidented levels in people, it's a wonder we have survived this long.

I don't know about that.
I have tree allergies and in the spring, only one eye gets watery and runs.

That is right. Many people are having strange ailments, and many seem to suffer from memory loss. Even young people. It seems as Covid caused swelling in the cerebral cortex, among other things, and it takes a long time to heal

Hey MS hope all is well.. one reason I come here is Ive always get options

Yeah, I hear you about the meds, Ive taken a Zyrtec for a while my doctor is aware, FWIW it seems to help my left ear Meneire's, tinnitus or whatever is going on, and previous allergy symptoms. This is different though, for example, if it was an infection would it come and go, as this seemingly does?

Unfortunately Im uninsured and on a fixed income so I try and keep my Doctor visits to a minimum, Don't think Ive had an antibiotic since 3-4 years ago when I had a tooth pulled. FWIW the sinuses aren't sore and as mentioned before the high-impact massager does seem to help briefly. If it's an infection wouldn't I likely have a fever? ALSO hayfever and the like are low to medium in my immediate area.

Regardless it's frustrating when it hits, like it's this past hour since it's back, and haven't done anything but drink water and I took my daily Zyrtec when I felt symptoms coming along.

Now my sinuses are stuffed up and the tickle is in my throat, The throat's not sore though, tear ducts are running a little and itchy AF

Well that's another sticky wicket I suppose it's possible but if it was Covid previously I didn't know about it. Of course, it could still be COVID now but cases here are virtually non-existent.

Feels like hay fever on steroids honestly...

and yes my memory and concentration skills are pretty lousy now. Simple spreadsheet tasks, and graphic design projects I used to knock out fairly easily, I now have to work to get myself back in the zone.

It is highly possible, virtually everybody I know in my close circle, says this too. Thankfully Im off all my previously prescribed meds, Im really thankful for that.

My concentration and focus though are shot, I have to listen to music to get any projects done. Frequent headaches etc.
