If I wanted to make Putin look bad/worse on the international stage, I would spare no expense to make this happen. No, I am not saying this is what happened.

The UN are calling for an investigation into the cause of Navalny's death.

UN human rights chief Volker Türk publicly called for his release last summer, saying his lengthy sentence suggested Russia was using the court system for political purposes.

"If someone dies in the custody of the State," the UN statement adds, "the presumption is that the State is responsible."

It adds that this"responsibility can only be rebutted through an impartial, thorough and transparent investigation carried out by an independent body".

Yeah , good luck with that.

Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul says Putin killed Navalny.

No need. Putin makes himself look bad enough as it is.

He's a very bad man.

"It’s not the first time Ukraine harped or even bragged about going in Russia and taking out rivals"

Slight difference. Ukraine is at war with Russia.

Russia is not at war with it's own citizens.

Putin previously had him Novichocked. Then imprisoned. Then sent to a harsh penal institution in the Arctic Circle.

Putin does have form for silencing his critics, permanently.

Yet you call it a "finger opportunity at Putin"?!!!!

How bleeding obvious can it be?

You are unbelievable.

What I don't understand is why the Kremlin kept him from being un-alived for so long?

I wouldn't want to be on the plane transporting his body thats for sure.

People arrested on the streets of Moscow and St Petersburg as people gather for Alexei Navalny.

Saw a few commentators saying this guy was more popular than Putin realized and it was a mistake turning him into a martyr and Putin could be in trouble.

so this is episode #637 of "Putin is gonna be toppled any day now! For real this time!"

And that's not me taking either side of the issue, just pointing out every other time Western analysts have said this, especially since the invasion, they've been wrong.

No worries, the usual suspects will be along soon to tell us that they are criminals or terrorists or something.

Think this is Putin just reminding everyone that he controls all of Russia including the decision around whether you live or die if he so chooses.

The rage from the US will need to be throttled down given they didn't give two #s after a few days of faux outrage when the Saudi Prince sanctioned Khashogis death in turkey.

Navalny was reported missing on Dec. 6, 2023. He was then located in the harsh, isolated prison on Christmas Day, Dec. 25... Very symbolic dates.

Between 12/6 and 12/25 he was cloned.

His clone was killed in prison. Ritual.

Another false flag, to speed up the agenda.

Cheers!

Seek help Qanonanut.

Out of all the devious possible scenarios for the poor fellow's demise.

You are going with something reminiscent of "The Island".

Let's just hope his execution does not have the desired effect Putin planned.

And the fear turns into something else.

Hypocrisy.

Democrats condemning President Putin for weaponizing his state justice system to arrest, convict and send his greatest political rival to prison to die ...while praising President Biden for weaponizing his state justice system to arrest, convict and send his greatest political rival to prison to die.

Priceless.
