Israel Investigates Possible Trading Knowledge Ahead of Oct 7 Hamas Attack

It looks like the 'freedom fighters' who are trying to destroy Israel, don't mind investing in Israel if it makes them a few hundred million dollars. How do they know it was Hamas leadership invested? Well, who else would have the money to invest AND would have known the fall was about to happen so they dump the shares? It's just speculation but it's pretty good speculation.

Reuters - Israel Investigates Possible Trading Knowledge Ahead of Oct 7 Hamas Attack

Israeli authorities are investigating claims by U.S. researchers that some investors may have known in advance of a Hamas plan to attack Israel on Oct. 7 and used that information to profit from Israeli securities.

Research by law professors Robert Jackson Jr from New York University and Joshua Mitts of Columbia University found significant short-selling of shares leading up to the attacks, which triggered a war nearly two months old.

"Days before the attack, traders appeared to anticipate the events to come," they wrote, citing short interest in the MSCI Israel Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) that "suddenly, and significantly, spiked" on Oct. 2 based on data from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

"And just before the attack, short selling of Israeli securities on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) increased dramatically," they wrote in their 66-page report.

I have an MBA from at then was a top 50 University Business Week Magazine MBA program globally. I also taught Statistical Process Control and Metrology in addition to basic math in industry.

This made just all fade away like the 911 short interest in 2011.

Gains of hundreds of millions of dollars was made.
And it was clearly inside knowledge that the hit was coming.
Hamas leadership are worth multi billions.
Wouldn't surprise me if they were investing in Israel to make money while at the same time taking money from Muslim sources to destroy it.
