Apparently the 'Russian Hackers' Narrative Isn't Dead Until They Say Die

So, I have heard some say that Russian and Chinese agents troll on social media. I have no idea if that's true, but
even long after the infamous "Russian Hackers" tripe is widely known to have been propaganda, officials in power
clearly have an axe to grind about Russian agents and election influencing.

They, the same ones who told us lies in 2016 to try to sway votes toward Clinton and her billionaire owners,
are now desparately shouting that "The Russians" are trying to sway US elections, AGAIN!
To me it reeks of the same B.S. story, hardly even repackaged.

I found this article on the front page of AP, posted at 2:23 this afternoon, and being AP, that means
it's going to be sent out to outlets across the nation and regurgitated into the news cycle.
I thought this was ATS worthy.

My questions:

1. Who paid them/ ordered them, to get this story published?

2. To what extent could this even be true?

3. Are our elections actually straight up rigged? Because honestly, this ironically has me thinking so.

4. Since one or more people in intelligence/ government had to have gone to the newswriters to get this published,
then why have this story published now, in particular, and what does it accomplish?

AP ARTICLE LINKED BELOW

Now here's for the second part of it:
Could this have to do with ATS being taken down?
Are sites like this, exactly the "Russian Hackers" they are so afraid of?

I know.

Pointing out that you wanted to use words you don't understand.

Speaks to you intelligence.

It's fun for me and reflects upon your positions.

There's correcting someone's spelling, and there's something else.
That's something else. Please cool it off a bit, would ya?

Tried to fluck off. It didn't work, so now I'm back.
Anyhoodles, I'll lurk to see if there's any discussion forum left in ATS without the police to
sedate the rabid.

I meant gun metal as a metaphor but I have a habit of sometimes being too concise and leaving adverbs and adjectives out. My bad.

Even if I did mean mettle, why the crusade to crucify a member for a spelling mistake?

I asked if you meant mettle or iron (metal).

...you said both.

Look, I've got zero place to lecture anyone on grammar.

My point here is two fold though. One, you didn't know the word you were trying to contextually use, which is just a rib jabber. But moreso that you can't even admit it and are trying to structure some excuse which is MUCH more hilarious!
