These are some of the same books that caused the passage of the bans and the "dont say gay bill" in Florida that caught so much flak.

Don't bother with that one. You can show them hard facts all day long and they'll keep moving the goal posts, trying not to see. They either do it to troll or they support this for their own benefit.
In that case, we know the type of person we're dealing with.

Also..if you don’t think these kids already are watching all of this and much,……much (in my deepest voice) worse on their little cell phones, you are downright silly.

Nothing new.
Colorado 1983 we had sex ed in which they talked to us about anal sex.
Late 80’s early 90’s Department of Defense School, “art book” gay sex art. The first time I learned what a daisy chain was.
These kinds of books and teachings have ALWAYS been there, it is just being made political right now.

While everyone is all in an outrage over this we are just glancing over the fact that so many schools are getting RID of libraries. Talking to you Texas. It won’t matter what is in books because pretty soon these crumb catchers won’t be able to read.

I graduated high school in 1980. There was no anal sex talk. No sex toy talk. No pee'n and poop'n on people talk. No discussions on how to go out and get gay sex. SEX ED was just that ... reproduction and how babies were made. That's what sex ed is. Reproduction discussions ... not how to troll the internet for gay dates and gay porn.

I 100% Swear they totally talked to us about anal sex. I’ve never forgotten it because I didn’t know what it was before that point. The teacher also showed us a condom and put it on a banana. Keep in mind this was also a time of high teen pregnancy.
They didn’t talk about pee or poop but I do remember them talking about self um… love…
The ninth-grade curriculum in Oceanside calls for discussions on homosexuality and masturbation, and spirited debates on abortion are conducted in classrooms, featuring representatives from anti-abortion and pro-choice groups. In Escondido, however, 10th-grade teachers are encouraged to steer away from such controversial subjects. “Our district has traditionally relied on parental training” when it comes to discussing the pros and cons of such issues, a school official said.

It was in Colorado, but I just looked and it appears the sex ed class varied on region.
Also I remember we had to have permission slips from our parents. I vividly remember that because my best friend was the only one that her parents didn’t allow to attend. Ironically she became a teen mom.. not even joking.
This is from 1985
