first off, welcome to ATS, your account is old, yet our stats are noob.

Second, as soon as you figure out how we can stop the stupid, you be sure to let us know. Until then, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Exactly this is why some people lurk and choose not to engage

With that said I know this group that also wants to stop the stupid, well I don't know them PERSONALLY, but you can read all about it.

That will be the flaw, but some of the sat phones can send text, which would help battery life.

Getting ready for a pole shift.

That’s all I can think of since a nuke war would obliterate everything for a very long time.

An unencrypted one.

At this point what difference does it make?

They probably just realized this was a good idea for national security just like they figured out how to pick balloons up on a radar.

Power grid could experience blackouts all over this summer.

Who needs an EMP when the EPA rules are risking widespread blackouts for nearly anyone and everyone West of the Mississippi?

This could be why there are sat phones. The power will be chancy just because of the Green Agenda.

It is interesting that us government officials switch to satellite phones exactly one year before vaeious componente of the US communications grid experiences a number of hour to day long disruptions. Consider the ATT outage, the AWS outage on super Tuesday effecting most communications platforms, and so on. Also a US president producing a film showcasing this before these events but after the phone switch is suspicious.
