Yaaaaaaaaaay!

Rules requiring people to show a Covid-19 vaccine passport to access venues will be lifted in France on March 14 – about a month before the presidential election - said French Prime Minister Jean Castex, as the country gradually eases Covid health protocols amid signs the virus is receeding in France.

“The health situation is improving,” Castex told TF1 television on Thursday.

Face masks will also no longer be needed indoors from March 14, with the exception of public transport.

The vaccine pass, however, remains mandatory to access elderly home care centres, Castex added.

France to suspend rules requiring Covid-19 vaccine passes on March 14

Short but very sweeeet message from France News. And about time too.

As someone who would NEVER have endless jabs of an experimental poison I haven't been able to work for over a year because I did not have "nazi papers" and lost the ability to network as I used to to find the work and the socialising was cut short with lockdowns, quarantines and ignorant fear of others that took hold.

Looking forward to attending "Brocantes" (car boot/yard sales) again to buy and sell stuff. Trading is my future now.

I have pretty much given up alcohol through this scamdemic though, and feel I have a new respect for my body and mind so standing among the expats who have carried on regardless through this scamdemic with their entitlements and holiday mentalities should provide a metaphorical social distancing all of my own. Hidden, but there. I will stick to a social beer or two from now on.

Catching up on news will be fun...I must be careful with my sarcasm and ridiculing of the mudbloods.

Also being mindful of the phrase "suspended" though, as some sources are quoting "lifted" and some are saying "scrapped" and it may come back if it's just a "ruse".

Just in time for Macron to run again for President.. pft!

ps... THANKYOU ATS FOR BEING THERE WHEN NOBODY ELSE CARED.

Any idea on requirements for people flying in from other European countries -- is proof of vaccination required, or just the test?

Cheers

COVID 19 International Travel - France

Since February 12, 2022, the following rules apply at borders :

For travelers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations, no more tests is required on departure. Proof of a complete vaccination schedule becomes sufficient to arrive in France, regardless of the country of origin, as was the case before the distribution of the Omicron variant.

For unvaccinated travellers, the obligation to present a negative test to travel to France remains, but the measures on arrival (test, isolation) are lifted when they come from countries on the "green" list, characterized by a moderate circulation of the virus.

When unvaccinated travelers come from a country on the "orange" list, they must continue to present a compelling reason justifying the need for them to come to mainland France and may still be subject to a random test on arrival. Travelers who test positive will have to isolate themselves, in accordance with the recommendations of the Health Insurance.

Things may change with the new situation so bookmark the link and keep reviewing.

– about a month before the presidential election

I think that says everything you need to know.

Not everything, although it is quite obvious it's part of the reason.

Ironic that the large amount of the population here who have protested the "pass sanitaire" have now been freed up to protest Macron instead regarding his run for re-election....lol
